Don't give up

| 28 March 2013
I would like to share an important lesson in life that I've learned last week. I thought I can't go on with my plans since funds are slowly depleting. Fortunately, I was given a chance to go on as planned with His guidance.

Don't give up on yourself. Your dreams are more important than quitting. I've tried to let go of my plans and stay in my comfort zone, but it's not really good. Hence, I choose to be grateful of what I have and move on with confidence that everything will be just fine.

Thirty Years of My Past

| 23 November 2010
I'm so early in coming here in the office, so I think this is a perfect time to post about thirty years of my past. This is a recollection of the things I've done after graduating high school because I choose to keep the rest for myself. I'm really happy because things are still getting better despite the challenges that I encountered for the past decades.

The things I've planned and done with my comments.

First, there's a need to take up a college course. I chose Bachelor of Arts Major in Political Science for one reason that I want to be lawyer. I enjoyed my Pol Sci days and started being a member of a debating club. Of course, I earned the degree by hard work and diligence.

Take up law. Being in law school is tough. Imagine reading a lot of law school books for daily oral recitations in class. Honestly, I was a very lousy law student. I didn't study hard and I only passed because of my quick reviews before exams. This thing happened in my second year until I graduated with "falling colors". How sad when I was successful in my elementary and high school days, referring to academic and extra-curricular matters. Did you know that I was an athlete even up to law school? Yeah, that was track and field. My last run was in a law school activity.

Attend a practice court hearing. I'm not really an outstanding student in law school but I've tried a lot of fun things to do. I was able to participate in a real court hearing under the supervision of a law school professor. It was nice and fun. Honestly, I was really nervous at that time. We need to help a person recover damages from the defendant. As a side note, I won as speaker in debating contests and made known for a while because of my "impressive they say" performance in a moot court hearing. I can't forget being a popular "witness" at that time. Because of that, I gained friends and enemies, too.

Take the BAR exam and pass.  Some stroke of luck, but I failed. I can attribute this failure to my lousy performance in school, too much time and attention given to extra-curricular activities like debating, mooting, sports, fraternity and others. By the way, I'm a member of an exclusive national law fraternity and sorority.  I've regretted not being a lawyer after my graduation but I never regretted enjoying life that time. I've learned a lot of things because of the bittersweet detour.

To really fall in love. I have a tale to tell because of this. But really, I did this for literature and fun. It's true that I've been in love but when it's over, I realized I should go back to reality. I've known a lot of people because of this and visited a very beautiful and calm place in it's finale.

Visit places. I've been to different places within the Philippine island. The cities include General Santos, Davao, Dipolog, Cagayan de Oro City, Iligan, Marawi, Guimaras, Aklan (Boracay), Iloilo, Manila, Bulacan, Dapitan, Ozamis, and others.

To marry when twenty-eight years old. My plan of marrying at the age of twenty-eight years old happened. I was married in the Philippines Temple (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), not other temple that you know, by the way, to a man three years older than me. I hope to have twin (little ones) with my husband.

Rent-to-own. I started paying when I was twenty-eight years old. I'll share some pics by the time we we're able to remodel the house.

Insurance. Yes, I'm insured. That's for my future and in case I'll die first.

There are other plans for accomplishment. Until the next recollection....:) Thanks for reading thirty years of my past blog post.

I Remebered The Woman Who Changed My Heart

| 19 October 2010
It's weird that I remembered a person who twisted my life's journey out of destiny or maybe just a coincidence. She's really pretty, yet every time I remember her, fear starts to settle within me. Why? I see her as a venomous snake. Not her really, but her attitude. Let me explain why and I'll use my talent in writing to keep it discreet as it should be.

I had a moment in my life that I was so happy I met a person who knew me very well. We clicked in almost any topic, had long talks, shared the Gospel, planned together and shared dreams. I'm aware that it could be a dream that was meant to prepare me to face a life that's different. But I loved every moment I'm with him. Why I'm certain of this? I dreamed of him before I met him. It's unbelievable. Yet, the moment I agreed to live a life that has been planned by God for me, everything changed.

The woman who changed my heart heart secretly fell in love with 'him". It's me, the girl and the man played this awful scenario of unfaithfulness, pain and moving on. She always takes care of me when I'm around without me knowing that she's checking if me and the man were still connected, hearts still combined in that dream I'd already known. No, she didn't know that the man fell apart but still with me. There was a happy moment to talk about a marriage. There was an exciting gush to prepare for a future together. There was me and the man she longed to love. I'm skeptical about the marriage, especially when worry and wisdom filled mt heart and soul.

There was a slight indifference in all the connection I had with him when the same girl appeared in the picture. Then, the mysterious marriage proposal became a tragedy which changed my heart forever. No more trusting, no more hoping, no more traitor friends. With all the energy I could muster, I gave him the choice he always had. I'm already on my way to love another person who is so faithful and God-fearing. I'm sure there were tears falling in his eyes when I finally turned my back, and laughter roared behind me when I said "The dream is over. Go back to reality. There, you'll never see me again to take care of you so dearly. There, she's going to ruin your reputation. I hope, not. Because a part of you remains with me".

There was a dreaded silence. There was an impending call to remain true. But the union of two dreamers can never happen. That's why I'll always think that I shouldn't fall in love with a dreamer.

Now, all that's left is reminder. Never be with someone who likes to love a snake. I cannot. Because I hate snakes. Ask my sister, if it's unbelievable. Lastly, don't trust a guy to a suspicious girl. Believe me, you'll get unnoticed. The world will betray you.

What Happened Before This Post

| 19 July 2010
I realized that I have no post in this blog for a long time. At this time, I decided to just write a few things that happened before this post. I will just write it in a list form:

1. Last month, our dog Enzo got sick. We brought Enzo to his vet immediately knowing that it has been three days that he had not eaten food, and even have a taste of water. Days later, he's back again, running and playing within the lawn with Ice.He also learned what ("Ba-bye!) means, every time he would hear that word, he will go directly to where his leash is attached and stare at me for him to go out with a leash in his collar.

2. One of my favorite blog is April Athena's Blog. It's actually a beauty blog. What I like about this blog is the obvious enthusiasm of the blogger to share her beauty tips, sale, giveaways, news, and other matters related to beauty. Her Youtube video channel is also linked in her blog. I hope she post some product reviews with giveaways for international readers soon.

3. I watched Karate Kid with my husband to unwind. And then, we attended a birthday party of my friend's daughter. I enjoyed so much the party for the clowns are really, really funny. The video is also very captivating, nice view, and so accessible.

4. I started buying hanging plants yesterday. I also planted ampalaya last week. I really enjoyed growing vegetables in the backyard. Thankfully, our dogs just stayed in the front door for them not to play with my plants.

5. Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank my friends in bloggers for visiting my blog once in a while. Before I close this post, I would like to share also this link (good for blogers who wants work-at-home jobs).
That's what happened before this post. Have a nice day!

Let The Love Begin Makati City

| 13 May 2010
Makati City loves me. It is obvious. I have been working for more than two years within that wonderful city. I remembered my job interview in Pacific Star Building. After a few minutes of question and answer portion, I was asked to take a test which is a multiple choice type of test. But before I could finish the mind-boggling exam, I was asked to attend the orientation program. Then, I was asked to report the next day. The job I was talking about left most of my friends asking me some questions- what is with the job that you got to earn more? why is it that you are not allowed to talk about the company? I wanted to answer their questions, but I decided to keep quiet about it.

So, I said let the love begin in Makati City because I realized that I am always lucky in that city. I left my latest work there to rest or to find solace, at least for three months. I decided not to work again in Makati City because it is too far from home and traffic is still a problem. But, I discovered a job that I really wanted to have! The location of their office is still in Makati City. I got the job without having to go through major examinations. Just by being honest and confident, I got it. So there again, I still have to stare at the height of RCBC, eat out at KFC People Support Building, and walk along to Pasong Tamo for a ride to LRT station. It is a relief that the company's location is right at the heart of Makati City. It is very accessible for me to go home and even visit Landmark and Greenbelt from time to time.

I have a new job, a new company to work with, and hopefully gain new friends. In Makati City, I know I could take all that I deserve. I never meant to hurt or disrespect anyone for leaving their good office too soon, I just want to do what I really want and not waste my time for things that I do not like doing. They allowed me to work day shift and in fact, offered me a higher job post. The job is very challenging but I am prepared for everything. Back in the corporate world, I am ready to face challenges. Let the love begin. Have a nice day to all!

Karen got a new job and grateful to Him for the blessings.

Live Each Day of Your Life

| 10 May 2010
Live each day of your life. Say thank you, I love you, I am sorry, You are beautiful, every time you want to do so and do not wait for tomorrow. It might be, that tomorrow never comes.

In my journal, I pasted a poem entitled Tomorrow Never Comes. The poem is very interesting since it was written by a young husband during the time he was mending over the death of his wife in an airplane crash. The poem was shared to me by a friend then.

Part of the poem reads:

"If I knew this would be the last time I WOULD hear your voice in prayer;
I would record every gesture, every look, every smile, every words you utter.

If you are waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?
Because if tomorrow never comes, you certainly will regret for the rest of your life,
not having spent some extra time for a smile, a conversation, a hug, a kiss.

Because you were too busy to give that person what ended up being their last wish."

To live each day of your life, there is a need to be fair and diligent. Many people are guilty of this scenario, including me, of course. I used to take for granted the things that my loved ones deserve. Family members and friends, I think, just stay there for me, not knowing that they learned to forget me already. It is unfair for the people we love if we allow them to be taken for granted.

I remember those victims of earthquakes, typhoons, and tidal waves who died without being able to say a few words to their loved ones. That is why, it is necessary to express gratitude, love, respect, and forgiveness anytime available in order to avoid late offering to loved ones or that something that ended up being their last wish. So, live each day of your life and avoid procrastination. As we all know, we have no control on the time of death. For each one, you might die anytime. Death is not part of our freedom to choose. It is something that will knock into our doors unexpectedly. By doing the right thing for our loved ones, and loving them wholeheartedly, we cannot totally fear death.

Avoiding Pickpockets or Avoiding Hooks

| 01 May 2010
Let me talk about an unforgettable experience about pickpockets. In this place, pickpockets still exist and being extra careful is necessary. When I was a student, I had been a victim of hooks or pickpockets. I did not realize that they appear everywhere especially during paydays. My friends and I walked to the promenade to chat for while when suddenly I feel something is wrong. I turned around to see any clue of danger, but none seemed suspicious. We passed by a famous coffee shop, but before we reached the door, some old friends are watching me in a strange manner. After an hour, I realized that I lost my wallet and my handbag is already half-open. I was then a victim of hungry pickpockets. Here are tips on avoiding dips or hooks.

Do not flash bills or carry loose money in pocket.

Carry wallet in your inside coat pocket (men) or at the bottom of purse (women).

Be suspicious of anyone who jostles you unnecessarily.

If you realize your pockets has been just picked, scream. Hook will usually drop wallet and run.

Remember, the pickpocket depends on your inattention for his success. Be wary of crowds.

Keep large quantities of cash in bank, do not keep it on your person. Remember, the dip or hook will try to distract you while robbing you, covering up his own actions by reading a paper or book. Fairs, crowds, buses, trams and subways are their working ground.

In my case, I realized that when I noticed my old friends were looking at me intently or strangely, they witnessed the pickpocket doing the job. They were unable to warn me because they saw that the pickpocket is bringing a knife. Besides, an hour already passed when I realized my wallet was picked, hence screaming is no longer necessary. I need to be more careful next time in order to avoid pickpockets or hooks. Wait, avoiding pickpockets or hooks is no fun. Being careful is a primary task.

Next In Line

| 22 March 2010
I am happy to note that a blogger friend inspired me again to write some posts. There are two things that made me inspired in blogging by now. First, a beautiful blogger award has been passed to me by Beanizer_05. Here is the award for me:

The next thing, Beanizer_05 wrote this on his post:

* Karen - I admire your wits. Write more.

Sometimes, I get too excited for any nice message for me. I did not even think that it could have been for another blogger with the same name. But when I visited one of my posts, Beanizer left a message that an award has been passed on to me from him.

Here are the rules:

1. Thank the person who gave you this award.
2. Share 7 things about yourself.
3. Pass the award along to 15 bloggers who you have recently discovered and who you think are fantastic!
4. Contact the bloggers you've picked and let them know about the award.

Alright then, I would like to thank you Beanizer for this wonderful blogger award. Just then, I will also share seven things about myself.

1. I am still fervently praying for rain to visit in the place where I live.
2. Still, I do not eat turkey meat.
3. Last night, I had a dream fighting against a bad spirit. It was so scary that I had to wake up and pray hard to God for protection.
4. I do not have plans to be outside the country to work.
5. I took one test- and it could make or break my dreams and aspirations.
6. There are people who owed me a lot. It was my patience and understanding that prevented me to take revenge.
7. Inspirational fiction drama is one of my weaknesses.

I am already starving and I need to eat, so I will just divide the fifteen awards to only three people. Please forgive me for breaking the rules, I just need to eat on time.

-Five (5) for Kri * you are really a friend, your words and our memories in that city keep on running in my mind...missed you then...

-Five (5) for Beanizer * thank you for reading my posts most of the time...i appreciate your friendship then...

-Five (5) for Procne * thank you for being amiable..i wonder who you may be...i have this gut feeling that i already met you before...

Thank you!

Deal With Fate

|
Most people believe in destiny, just like me, they are fooled by its hopelessness. If a person would say, "you are destined to be his lover no matter what", then how would you react? There are two possible answers to this question. Looking into two perspective, I would answer the question this way: I will fight for my love no matter what, because I believe that we will end up together (that is when I am young and innocent, unable to distinguish puppy love from true love), and I will decide based on what is real and true no matter what, should there be trials and my love for him cannot withstand, it is not always true that I will be his lover no matter what (that is when I had many experiences when it comes to matters of the heart). Hence, I no longer believe in fate or destiny nowadays compared to my younger years. This time, I deal with fate fiercely.

Essentially, our hearts are glued to the possibility of loving the person of our dreams. Indeed, lucky is the girl who gets to marry the man of her dreams. But, such thing happened because of the favorable decisions of the people involved in the situation. We should not hold on to the promise that there is fate or destiny for being in love is like residing in a gambling den. Should the heart falter and throb for anyone else, fate and destiny would depart the gates of hope and broken hearts start to spread in the lawn of love gambling den. Imagine how scary it is to feel regrets and witness one's spirit to be broken because there is a late yet sudden realization that there is no such thing as fate or destiny. In short, marry the person who truly loves you and not the man of your dreams who could be just a pigment of your imagination.

There is no such things as destiny. For one thing, a person has all the freedom to decide for himself or herself. A man has the freedom to choose the girl he would love, or choose to be dictated by the people around him. All the things that had happened are the product of all the decisions linked to its eventual occurrence. We are accountable for all the decisions we made. I would like to stress a point regarding environmental degradation. For the past generations, some of them allowed the environment to be eventually destroyed. Some of them fought for environmental protection. As to who will win the race, we witnessed various natural calamities that proved the existence of environmental abuse. Maybe, only few people who decided to fight for environmental protection.

To deal with fate, people must remain versatile. There is no such thing as destiny, trust me. Leave the person behind who failed to fulfill his promises to make you happy. A woman's instinct is a useful tool in dealing with the painful process of staying true to one's self. After all, it is always reliable to depend on the love notice that it should be mind over matters of the heart. To deal with fate, the best way is to be fierce and witty. We might get hurt, but at least, we ended up whole and fulfilled than being a loser.

 Happy Monday!

Are You A Risk Taker?

| 21 March 2010
Are you a risk taker? This was a question asked during a job interview. Most of the interviewees, including me looked at the wall in front of us after we heard the question. There were three of us and all are girls. The interviewer is a friendly female who deserved to be smiled upon because she remained cool despite our inability to find the answer to the question. For me, something is brewing inside of us as the room was filled with tension. This is the last question asked and we need to answer the same for consideration to the next stage of the job application. Indeed, are you a risk taker?

Moments later, one interviewee replied, "Yes, I am a risk taker. For the fact that I lived very far away from here, I decided to embark on this journey to join the company for some personal reasons", and the interviewer just nodded. Later on, I managed to gain more hope of giving the right answer just to end the tension. I wonder where the tension started, it is obvious, but within me, there is nothing to fear, nothing to worry. I said "Yes, I am a risk taker. I managed to apply for this job and join this stage of the application process despite the fact that the job position is not within my educational background. At least, I have the courage to learn other things amidst this competitive world". The interviewer asked another question, what other things can you offer for the company? Since it was for me to handle, all eyes are glued at me, I answered, "just the assurance that I will help fulfill the company's visions".

The interviewer did not give any comment on my answer. She suddenly became busy staring at a young girl with tears flowing in her eyes. I noticed that the tension amidst us flew in other direction and it was replaced with curiosity. Why the tears, sweetheart? This could have been the meaning of the interviewer's gaze upon the girl. The girl cried and she was sitting beside me. She blurted out that she badly needed the job in order to survive. She needs to feed her newly-born baby and she was abandoned by the father of her child. Suddenly, I knew then the correct answer of the question, are you a risk taker? However, it was too late, before I could react, the opportunity to attend the next screening process was given to the crying interviewee. I stood up with the other girls and went to Jollibee for a refreshing lunch.

My Regency Kit

| 12 March 2010
The ultimate cycle of life is quiet mysterious but the endpoint is vital. People managed to follow the course so eagerly like enjoying childhood years, building dreams, learning essential lessons, to be blessed with youthful glow, embrace adulthood and fear death . But, I do not mean that all people really fear death. In this point of my life, I had developed a my regency kit that would guide me as I continue my journey. Is it not that we travel along with others through the cycle called life?

Spiritually, included in my regency kit is the ability to hold on in something eternal. Admittedly, I had to face tremendous trials because I could say that I am ready to die anytime. It is like a trial and error game. I meet a lot of people and not all of them are understanding and kind. Do I have to forget the right path just because of them? Of course, not. The strait and narrow path to eternal life is indeed existing. The only way to remain faithful is the balance between work and integrity.

Socially, included in my regency kit is the art of being resilience and versatile. This regency kit is equivalent to being fierce but loyal. All of us bask in the favor and candor of our friends. But, what if some of them are not genuine? A friend could be a greatest enemy. It is in loyalty and honesty where we could regain control and trust our friends. For all we know, not all of them are not worthy. I had a few friends that I am proud to admit being loyal and genuine in their friendship with me. If I am able to deal with different kinds of friends, I will be able to face strangers wherever, whatever, and whenever.

Financially, included in my regency kit is the ability to save and live within my means. There are a lot of books that would help me accomplish this task in a consistent manner. I must save for any calamity to happen because I admit, it is something that I do not know to occur or not in our location. I must give back to God the exact amount due Him through paying my tithes. It is essential to prepare nutritious and healthy foods for loved ones in order to avoid diseases. I will no longer eat often some food products from Jollibee, KFC, and the likes. Besides, getting an insurance coverage and paying the same is one way of preparing for future needs.

All other my regency kit are basic. We must read some good books despite how busy we are. To care for ourselves and enjoy nature is natural and vital. Being a well-rounded person is attainable, it is just that we are always caught up within the web of information era. More often than not, we use cellphones every time we need to communicate, we watch television shows instead of caring for a sick neighbor, we use the computer excessively maybe because of Facebook and blogging and we use gadgets to listen to music while jogging instead of having an opportunity to meet new friends. I must be mindful of these things and change my ways. After all, this is for my own good. This is my regency kit from eternity to eternity.

What Are We Holding On To?

| 09 March 2010
Admit it, some people will feel pity for those who lived in the slums. Others need to help them and aid them just to ease hunger and extreme poverty. Personally, I deal with hardships everyday, may it be on spiritual, social, physical, and temporal matters. The pain and hatred felt by the people around me are sometimes hurled at my direction, something that I cannot control. Some people feel the same way, pushing hard the cart of survival and sipping the cup of hope and faith. For me and you, what are we holding on to?
For all the unpleasant things that happened in our lives, it was due to the unrighteous acts of other people. It has nothing to do with punishment. Yes, we also commit unrighteous acts because we are not perfect, but we still have the chances to repent. Hence, it is not correct to say that we cannot correct all wrongs committed. After all, the final judgment is in His hands.

So, what are we holding on to? One day, darkness will be placed in the backseat and the righteous will triumph. What we do here on earth will reflect our future. If we keep on hurting other people, giving them more hurdles, we will be judged in accordance with our deeds. I had done the same acts against other people because sometimes I want to revenge. But then I thought, what could I get in doing so? My unrighteous deeds will just take its pile and increase time by time. For me, it is unacceptable. Therefore, I will just let the heavens find the justice and equity that I deserve.

Morning Prayer

| 08 March 2010
Today is a wonderful morning. I was able to ponder on things that are more important for me. I was grateful for the additional day bestowed upon me, for I do not know if tomorrow is the end, and this blog will become unattended. I am also grateful that I am healthy and was able to say my morning prayer. My morning greetings for the people I love and our dogs are sweet and kind. I am aware that this day will turn out to be good despite the fact that I need to fall in line at GMA bank to open a new Checking Account.

My prayers for the day are crucial. First of all, I thanked my Creator for the chance to improve my life. Later on, I provided Him an accounting of my activities including my feelings. Suddenly, I realized that I had more hatred than forgiveness because of the people who caused me wrong. So, I asked forgiveness to Him and prayed for guidance. I will repent until I find peace in my heart. Anyway, those people will be judged in accordance with what was in their hearts. I added in my prayers the safety of my family and peace in the community where I lived. I ended it with a resolution that I will do my best today. To be kind and patient. To be productive and industrious. And to be more understanding and strong.

This day is important for me because I was able to hand all my burdens to my Creator. After all, there is no one that could help me but him. I cannot really be sure of the sincerity and loyalty of the people around me, but with Him, there is always hope and confidence. I will survive in His love and guidance for there will never be me without Him. I know that some people do not believe in God. But I will never judge them for what they believe and know. In the same way, allow me to hold on to Him in this moment of peace and faith.

Honoring My Spiritual Well-being

| 01 March 2010
I just need to fuel my spirit. Tremendous trials come my way and doing something to calm my soul is a paramount consideration. It is important to reawaken and rejuvenate the part of me that always gets lost in a busy life- my spirit.

Basically, reading the scriptures is one of the perfect ways to honor my spiritual well-being. For the past few days, I was able to ponder on the great people found in the old testament. I remember young David who killed Goliath who is a giant. Aside from the fact that Goliath is very tall, he is also mighty. However, Goliath was killed by David in the valley of Elah due to David's faith in God. I also remember the story of Joseph who was sold by his brothers in Egypt. When a famine visited their place after so many years, Joseph was able to save his family despite the fact that his brothers caused their separation. Knowing the faith in God of both David and Joseph, I know that I will be able to survive and always choose the right path.

I have been into great trouble for the past few days. Judging on the matter, friends always remind me that patience is a virtue. Well, I always have the decision to be patient in all the negative things that block my way. I am well aware that it is only me that will cause any negative consequences in my actions. Hence, my decision to endure to the end in doing righteous deeds is crucial.

Justice Is What I Yearn

| 23 February 2010
This post is for a neighbor who considered my family as intangible-people that they hated so much but they cannot do something about it. They keep on badgering us, talking unfounded words, and belittling our knowledge. However, when any member of my family passes by their place, any one of them hides...AFRAID? or WHAT?

So, what are you trying to show? Arrogance and cowardice placed in one bowl and tossed with anger? This neighbor must talk to us face to face, just like a professional must act. So, what is your problem? That our dogs are considered nuisance? I asked all my friends in law school, is there a law in the country that prohibits taking care of dogs in apartments? Forgive me for my ignorance, i missed that question way back in law school. But then they answered me in unison: "nope, but try to check the city ordinance and ask your landlord about it..."

That is my point, the landlord never showed me the lease contract that I was looking for since day one in order for me to know the terms and conditions of the lease. It seems that my poor neighbor does not know about this fact. Am I that stupid to bring dogs inside the house knowing that it was not allowed by the absentee landlord? The caretaker failed to let me sign a lease contract which is supposed to be the law between us-landlord and tenants....I just presumed that it was allowed by experience.

And that neighbor of mine? Just wait for the day that we will leave this place. For your information, we are leaving this place soon to our new home where we could bring with us our dogs. I never dreamed of living in an apartment in my entire life. You? It is supposed to be you who should live in your own house because you had your second generation with you. As for me, we are just starting as a family and we were able to do something about it. How about you? You are so mad thinking that we will live here forever? No way!

I did nothing despite what you did to us. Remember, you are only human just like me.......just a caveat...justice is what I yearn...

You Can Do Magic

| 20 February 2010
 "You know darn well
When you cast your spell you will get your way
When you hypnotize with your eyes
A heart of stone can turn to clay"

Yes, you can do magic. Each one of them left an impression in my heart. Somehow, somewhere...I became what I am because I met them sometime...

Ruth- when i will have a chance, i will do the same thing that you did to me
Karem- it is because i was too busy that time that you were angry with me?

Earn Money Through Writing

| 26 January 2010
Writing is my way of expressing my thoughts and opinion especially when I felt like I need to share them. It is also one way of sending messages to other people the things that I do not like and the things that I am fond of. Maybe, I was carrying a pen the day I was born because there are times that I could get sick when I failed to write. That's a joke, of course! Well, I learned many things since the day I signed up for a writing job. The experiences made me a better person, a better blogger, and a better researcher. I am hoping a raise for my salary though for the coming year because I felt it is just and right. It is true that I earned a lot through writing. There are times when I will be paid twenty four thousand pesos just for one writing assignment and be paid five times that an ordinary government worker is receiving. It's no joke, I already paid down payment for a house and lot somewhere in the South.

I am glad that I did not give up on writing. When I was in college, I promised myself to hone my writing skills in whatever way available. People would comment that writers are not really paid well. But when Internet surfing became a hit, that statement became moot and academic. I am not really good in grammar, I admit that. But sometimes, when you were born as a writer, things will fall in the right places. Yes, I am clever. I used all possible means to study all emotions that a person could express. These emotions really steam from falling in love up to the time when poverty and hunger breaks a heart. Yes, that is true. The complexity of the society actually revolves around eating and loving. Right? Feel the air. You will feel alright when you are loved. Listen to your heart, you will know that you are alright when you are not hungry. Strange but true. It is our survival that we understand the meaning of life. We struggle. Yes.

Life and Writing

It is true that I earned a lot through writing. I wrote about travel, fashion and food. These topics are my favorite. I also wrote about pool parties and featured many Cavite resorts. It's really fun!
