Blogging Is Not Only For SEO

| 30 November 2010
Why the title? :) "Blogging is not only for SEO" has been chosen term to introduce the term to my classmates. I've been busy lately because of work and other activities. But since today is my birthday, I'd like to write something on my blog, for the benefit of my high school batch.

To make it clear, this blog is for SEO or search engine optimization. Not only that, it's also my way of sharing my views, comment and perspective of a thing or issue.

I'm not here to brag about my career or anything. I'm always inviting friends and strangers to visit my blog because I feel happy that few people were there to visit and comment on my blog.

When I was not that busy, I was there in our reunion guys, remember? I was the one collecting funds and spearheading food preparation. I miss those days, but I have to prepare for my future. When I'm done here, I'll be back and enjoy the rest of my days.

Finally, you'll be able to get updated on my activities so that you'll be sure of what I'm doing and not hold on speculations.

Yes, blogging is not only for SEO, right? It's also for nice photos from our little garden at home:

Blogging is for cute dogs, too. :)

So, blogging is not only for SEO, right? Thanks, friends! Happy birthday to me. :)

Don't forget to join my giveaway, click here.

Wishlist For Christmas 2010

| 24 November 2010
 Follow my blog with bloglovin

Here in My Regency, I'd like to prepare and share my own wishlist for Christmas 2010. Prior to that, I'm so lucky to receive several gifts from loved ones last Christmas. Since my birthday falls in the month of December, birthday gifts added my collection of favorite things.

The best thing that I received last Christmas is good health. I can't imagine myself being sick and stay in the hospital. With God's help, I felt I'm healthy and able to perform my daily tasks.

How about you? Let's shift the focus on you, dear readers. What's your favorite gift received last Christmas? If you have your own wishlist for Christmas 2010, please share it by leaving a comment

Here is my wishlist for Christmas 2010:

Basically, I want a necklace, a handbag and earrings this Christmas. I hope my husband reads this post and think about it. :)

This necklace is very beautiful. It's perfect for my pale blue dress. It has been named as hand painted enamel double heart pendant designed by Carole Le Bris Perez.  It's part of the La Petite Princesse collection which can be purchased here.

This handbag is my favorite because it's PINK! Well, I might purchase if HERE, if I can complete my savings. It's called Pink Dylan Satchel Leather Handbag by Linea Pelle. It's so cute, right? :)

Finally, I want a pair of earrings! It must be unique like this one.

It can be bought here

Kate Middleton Highlights To The Making of a Princess

| 23 November 2010
We've been talking about Kate Middleton lately. In fact, I've started the talk by writing Let's Talk About Kate Middleton and Kate Middleton Pink Gown Photos. This time around, let's focus on Kate Middleton Highlights To The Making of a Princess. All these write-ups are based on the Mail Online news about Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Kate Middleton has been distinguished as the prettiest girl at Sally’s, the nickname for St Salvator’s Hall. That time, Prince William already noticed her.

They've plenty in common since Kate was a country girl who loved playing sports and was a keen swimmer, just like William.

It's good to know that if William was ever forced to miss a lecture, Kate would take notes for him. That's a typical happy campus relationship scenario.

This is very interesting. As Kate shimmied down the catwalk wearing black underwear and a daring, see-through dress, William whispered to a friend and said: ‘Wow, Kate’s hot!"

This was the time when the media knew of the relationship. Hence, the photo of William gazing lovingly at Kate that was published in The Sun on April 1, 2004, was no April Fools’ joke. That confirmed the rumors that William and Kate were definitely more than just friends.

One of the best things about Kate is her ability to properly handle things that are new to her. With that, she was polite to the photographers who now pursued her, and she quickly adopted the Royal rule of never speaking out.

This is another interesting piece of Kate Middleton Highlights To The Making of a Princess. According to Mail Online, Charles’s wedding, a civil ceremony in Windsor, William was a witness together with Camilla’s son Tom, and had the added responsibility of looking after the wedding rings. But since she and William were not yet engaged, Kate was not invited to the intimate family wedding itself.

The Mail Online website also shared that files of suitable brides for William, compiled as protocol by Palace aides has been archived. As a commoner, Kate Middleton was never included.

Here's Prince Harry's girl Chelsea and Kate story, according to Mail Online. They got off to an inauspicious start when Kate offered to take her shopping in King’s Road, Chelsea. When Chelsy, whose sense of style is very different from Kate’s, snubbed the invitation, Kate was said to be offended.

Based on the news and other sources, the couple separated twice.

Lastly, in November 2006, prior toWilliam's graduation in from Sandhurst, Kate was invited to Sandringham for the Royal Family’s traditional pre-Christmas lunch, the first time a girlfriend had received such an invitation.

Thirty Years of My Past

|
I'm so early in coming here in the office, so I think this is a perfect time to post about thirty years of my past. This is a recollection of the things I've done after graduating high school because I choose to keep the rest for myself. I'm really happy because things are still getting better despite the challenges that I encountered for the past decades.

The things I've planned and done with my comments.

First, there's a need to take up a college course. I chose Bachelor of Arts Major in Political Science for one reason that I want to be lawyer. I enjoyed my Pol Sci days and started being a member of a debating club. Of course, I earned the degree by hard work and diligence.

Take up law. Being in law school is tough. Imagine reading a lot of law school books for daily oral recitations in class. Honestly, I was a very lousy law student. I didn't study hard and I only passed because of my quick reviews before exams. This thing happened in my second year until I graduated with "falling colors". How sad when I was successful in my elementary and high school days, referring to academic and extra-curricular matters. Did you know that I was an athlete even up to law school? Yeah, that was track and field. My last run was in a law school activity.

Attend a practice court hearing. I'm not really an outstanding student in law school but I've tried a lot of fun things to do. I was able to participate in a real court hearing under the supervision of a law school professor. It was nice and fun. Honestly, I was really nervous at that time. We need to help a person recover damages from the defendant. As a side note, I won as speaker in debating contests and made known for a while because of my "impressive they say" performance in a moot court hearing. I can't forget being a popular "witness" at that time. Because of that, I gained friends and enemies, too.

Take the BAR exam and pass.  Some stroke of luck, but I failed. I can attribute this failure to my lousy performance in school, too much time and attention given to extra-curricular activities like debating, mooting, sports, fraternity and others. By the way, I'm a member of an exclusive national law fraternity and sorority.  I've regretted not being a lawyer after my graduation but I never regretted enjoying life that time. I've learned a lot of things because of the bittersweet detour.

To really fall in love. I have a tale to tell because of this. But really, I did this for literature and fun. It's true that I've been in love but when it's over, I realized I should go back to reality. I've known a lot of people because of this and visited a very beautiful and calm place in it's finale.

Visit places. I've been to different places within the Philippine island. The cities include General Santos, Davao, Dipolog, Cagayan de Oro City, Iligan, Marawi, Guimaras, Aklan (Boracay), Iloilo, Manila, Bulacan, Dapitan, Ozamis, and others.

To marry when twenty-eight years old. My plan of marrying at the age of twenty-eight years old happened. I was married in the Philippines Temple (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), not other temple that you know, by the way, to a man three years older than me. I hope to have twin (little ones) with my husband.

Rent-to-own. I started paying when I was twenty-eight years old. I'll share some pics by the time we we're able to remodel the house.

Insurance. Yes, I'm insured. That's for my future and in case I'll die first.

There are other plans for accomplishment. Until the next recollection....:) Thanks for reading thirty years of my past blog post.

Christmas Printable Paper Dolls Set

| 18 November 2010

My Regency is a kid-friendly blog, so this time around let's have review on Christmas printable paper dolls that Python Printable Games sent me recently. I've read a lot of Mommy blogs sharing about their kids enjoying art and crafts projects. I'm so delighted with those kids whose parents know how to train them various things like reading, drawing, painting and speaking well.

For today, Moms can give their children a chance to play paper doll cutouts from Python Printable Games. The said company sent me 14 pages of paper dolls to print and cut. After cutting each paper doll, I tried to color some of the designs.  All I can say that it's a fun thing to do, especially for kids!

The said art product is compose of 14 -page PDF file for kids to play. Basically, seven pages are black and white, so they can color in their dolls before they dress them. The other seven pages are pre-colored, so if there's less time, or no coloring materials available, they can simply cut out and play with the colored version. Isn't it interesting? The said Christmas printable paper dolls are awesome gifts for kids too.

Here's the finished products of my printable paper dolls cutouts.

Here's the black and white printed paper dolls.

 Ready for cutout.

Let's Talk About Kate Middleton

|
I thought of writing about a real love story between a prince and a would-be princess, then later a would-be queen. Right on, we think of Prince William Arthur Philip Louis Windsor, Britain's future king and Kate Middleton's love story. First, let's talk about Catherine Elizabeth Middleton. She was born on 9 January, 1982 into a middle class family in Reading. Her friends describe her as kindhearted and with a sensible soul. She also possess fine qualities such as being calm, demonstrating a strength of character with unique competence as a woman. It's essential to state that after attending Marlborough College she went to the prestigious University of St Andrews in 2001.

She took History of Art at St Andrews and it's the place where she met her prince. The royal romance started when they became housemates sharing a cottage in the Scottish town. In 2002, Kate and the Prince fell for each other. People were so interested of their love story that such situation sparked intense media interested worldwide.

I almost forgot to share that Kate Middleton did well in both her school and university exams. Intelligent, right? She's also considered as a woman with unique fashion sense which started when she embarked a career at a High Street fashion chain Jigsaw, working as a junior buyer. Her poise and dignity allowed her to maintain calmness amidst her new-found fame. When she was presented to the Queen, the latter was said to be much taken her grandson's choice of partner.

On April 14, 2006, it was rumored that Kate Middleton and Prince William decided to stop their relationship. However, the separation didn't last long. Her royal connection strengthened even more as the couple rekindled their love for each other. If you'll read dependable online news in a regular manner, you'll know about her attending activities related to the royal family, like the Concert For Diana at Wembley Stadium and many others.

With all these, we can say that Kate Middleton could be the future queen of England. Her ability to demonstrate intelligence and wisdom made her fit as one. The love between the middle class lass and her blue blooded sweetheart reflected a fairy tale saga. Their story is enticing to watch out for, and her fashion sense is just like Princess Diana. Isn't it tempting to predict that she could be the future queen of England?

What do you think? :)

Thanks for reading, "Let's talk about Kate Middleton" blog post.

Home Vegetable Gardening

| 12 November 2010
Today is Saturday, so it's the perfect time to post about home vegetable gardening. Many people claim that home vegetable gardening is a difficult task but with a positive attitude and perseverance, it can be a rewarding activity.

Why Grow Vegetables. Obviously, it's fun to harvest your own produce for home consumption. Some bloggers even share that they receive vegetables from their neighbors. Home vegetable gardening is one way of saving money, too. For example, it's good to grow your own tomatoes, eggplants and green leafy vegetables instead of buying in the market. Brought to the dining table freshly gathered, home vegetables provide nutritious meal and comfort for the family. So, why not make use of your own yard for home vegetable gardening?

Here are photos of our home garden.

Have a nice day! Thanks for visiting, My Regency blog, friends!

Ko Hyeon Jeong Dae Mul Movie Review Series I

| 10 November 2010
I'm so lucky because I was able to watch the first few episodes of Dae Mul in Youtube. Before it was aborted due to copyright infringement, I was able to watch  the first four episodes. Ko Hyeon Jeong Dae Mul movie review series will be added here in My Regency because I was enticed to watch out for the said Korean drama series. Remember her in Queen Seon Deok as the cunning Mishil?

For the first part of our Ko Hyeon Jeong Dae Mul movie review series, let's talk about my first impression of the drama. First, I'm still captivated by the acting prowess of Ko Hyeon Jeong. She's still very capable of delivering a unique role for the viewers to remember. Being so engaging and intelligent, she could make you wonder, smile, cry, laugh, think and rethink every time you watch every scene of Dae Mul. My first reaction was: There's a unique mix of beauty and intelligence in the aura of Ko Hyeon Jeong in Dae Mul.

The story? Well, such drama series was tagged as where the role played by Ko Hyeon Jeong became the first woman Korean president. In the first few episodes, you'll know how it turned out and where the official journey started. You'll surely love the scenes where she had an exam in a television broadcasting company. She first met Kwon Sang-Woo as Ha Do-Ya that time.

Speaking of  Ha Do-Ya's character, there's an air of drama and fun. You'll agree with me when you'll see the hilarious scene with his father. Of course, you'll also cry like me during the scene where his father kissed the foot of a rude politician whose son is so hateful. That's was a very sad portrayal of abuse and survival. That also caused Ha Do-Ya to work hard and be a fiscal.

I hope to write more about Ko Hyeon Jeong Dae Mul movie review series in the future. I'm just waiting for someone to upload via Youtube the series with English subtitles. Those videos I've seen recently was with Spanish subtitles. Although I can understand a little Spanish, it's still very hard for me.

Suri Cruise Fashion Style

| 09 November 2010
Who wouldn't agree with me that Suri Cruise fashion style is so cute? She's an adorable kid with a significant fashion sense, I must say. There are many pictures of this young girl found online. Aside from being the daughter of famous celebrity couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Suri Cruise fashion style was initially influenced by Katie herself. You'll know why when you start googling about it. Here are some photos of the little fashionista we love to talk about.

Lolita Fashion

| 08 November 2010
First of all, I'm so grateful for all the people who visited my blog. I've been writing a lot of posts lately because of you, guys. I also enjoy updating this blog. For today, I'd like to talk about Lolita fashion. Please take a look at Zeruda's Wonderland to have an idea of Lolita fashion.

According to Wikipedia, Lolita fashion is a fashion subculture originating in Japan that is primarily influenced by Victorian clothing as well as costumes from the Rococo period. Some bloggers and followers of Lolita fashion style mention that being Lolita is copying the sweetness of a genuine Lolita girl. I think that's where Sweet Lolita style originated. Expect a lot of colors in the clothing of a Lolita sweetheart. Also, I'm always amazed reading blog posts about Lolita meet-up not only in Japan but in other parts of the world where Lolita girls showcase their Lolita attire.

Check out these cute Lolitas, my friends!

Zhang Ziyi is Mulan

| 05 November 2010
Zhang Ziyi is Mulan? That was my first reaction when I've read the news about this. It was not a negative reaction, by the way. I'm happy to know via Screen Rant that, "the ancient tale of Mulan will be brought to the big screen once again in an English-language 3D film that is being funded by Walt Disney Pictures and produced by Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi."

The Disney movie Mulan.  According to Screen Rant, "Mulan portrays the story of the titular young woman, whose elderly father is ordered to return to military duty when external forces invade their Chinese homeland.  The spirited gal chooses to instead impersonate a man and take her father’s place in the army – an act for which she could be executed, should she be discovered."

My Regency speaks. Zhang Ziyi is one of my favorite Hollywood actress. I recently watched Rush Hour 2 because I knew she's part of the said movie. Last year, my husband and I watched "House of Flying Daggers", "The Banquet" and "Memoirs of Geisha". This time, I'm very excited to watch a live action of Mulan to be played by Zhang Ziyi herself. Zhang Ziyi is Mulan's human reflection. I can't help but remember her at Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon movie. I've also read via Wikipedia that Jerry Yan will be part of the movie, Mulan. I just hope it's true. :)

Cupcakes Instead of Cake

| 04 November 2010
Since my birthday is fast approaching, I feel like I wanted to prepare cupcakes instead of cake for that special day. My husband loves sweets like chocolates, ice cream and cake so I think that's a perfect treat for us. My decision to prepare cupcakes instead of cake was due to the emerging cupcake blogs that I found online. There's a new trend for foodies now, and obviously cupcakes take the cake! Here are pictures of cupcakes that inspired me this day.

Thanks for reading this post, Cupcakes Instead of Cake. Have a nice day, friends!

Recent News Stories

| 03 November 2010
I'm inspired just to write random recent news stories today. I've been visiting a lot of websites this time and I got some items to talk about. It's very rare for me to do this because I'm used writing one topic-blog post then. Here are the recent news stories for the day:
Let's talk about the recent viral video about one of my favorite Korean actress who allegedly insulted Filipinos in a KBS television show. The news mentioned that Korean actress Lee Da Hae denies insulting Pinoys' English accent and she apologizes  through her Twitter account. Remember that My Girl star who is so good in her acting skills? Well,  Lee Da Hae is the same Korean actress who plays the girlfriend of Jerome Lee in the original Greenrose Korean drama. I said original because I've read somewhere that ABS-CBN is currently preparing for an adaptation to be top-billed by Anne Curtis.

Lee Da Hae's apology is here (from Style Bible) "As an individual who used to take English classes over the phone with a Filipino instructor, I give you my word that even the mere thought of mocking Filipinos would never cross my mind," Lee Tweeted. "I cannot tell you how much Filipino fans mean to me. I would in no way hurt or upset them."

Another recent news stories from SEO Centro includes the fact that Google is ranking internal pages rather than home pages. It's like over the last day or two, Google has done yet another algorithm change (the 3rd or 4th noticeable one in 2 weeks), where on some searches they are ranking an internal page over the homepage.

We have also here Chloe, Yorkshire Terrier,  who was dressed as a princess in a dog lovers event.

Lastly, check out the Vogue Daily Fashion here in My Regency blog.

bloggers to let them know they have been chosen for this award.

I'd like to pass this award to License to Trespass, Beanizer Instincts, and Life Meets Happiness.

Why only three? Most of my blogger friends are males. Obviously, not all male bloggers love pink background color. I consider a blog to be lovely if it has a pinkish blog template. :) These three bloggers amuse me lately.

Thanks for stopping by, friends!
