Attainable High Street Lifestyle

I know that I haven't written for a long time here. I was busy preparing for my book to be launched next year. Since I transferred here at Taguig, I'm really busy with meaningful tasks that will also inspire you.

My lifestyle has changed since I live near Bonifacio Global City. I'm exposed to more shopping havens than before. SM Aura is just arms away from our place. With Market! Market!'s close proximity at home, I'm really inspired to spend more time with learning to unleash my creativity by visiting these places.

My husband suggested I transferred here since it's near the office. It would be easy for me to attend events, too. My photos are usually taken at BGC, High Street. I love visiting Fullybooked, especially when I want to read self-help books.

My Regency Dream Home

At the age of 28, it was my dream to get married. It happened as dreamed. Before I reach 30 years old, I dreamed to have my own home, under my name. It also happened. By this time, I already finalized my dream for the next ten years of my life. Life is often difficult, but I still believe in God and His infinite mercy and unconditional love. I know, everything will happen in the right order.

As horrible as it may seem, I never imagined that something bad will happen to a nearest kin. I work for justice, but he chose to forget it. This time, I really learned that parents must take good care and rear their children to guide them on the right path. Our choices in every moment will affect our future. Hence, we must deal with life prepared and open-minded.


Gong back to my dreams, I will work hard to achieve everything I envisioned for myself and my family. One of my dreams is a dream home, a place where I can still live life to the fullest. I am praying for good health and nice job to help me reach for my dreams. There may be failures, but then the fact that I am still alive, there is hope.

The Beauty of a Woman

The beauty of a woman is in interesting topic to explore. People usually mention that a woman's beauty can be measured by knowing what is in her heart and not only by judging her outward appearance. I decided to write on this topic after I met a person with a beautiful heart. Her beauty is unique. With a long black hair and simple make-up, her beauty is truly remarkable. For a long time, I was wondering what was her secret. Last week, I also stumbled upon a magazine wherein it was written that a woman always looks beautiful when her actions reflect what is in her heart. In other words, there are myriad secrets to show or express the beauty of a woman.

As they say, speaking words of kindness makes your lips so attractive. I remembered Audrey Hepburn words relating to this. True enough, if you happen to see or hear a woman speaking evil words, her unattractive lips become noticeable. No wonder women always try to speak kind words! Additionally, women who always seek the good in others project lovely eyes. Then, it is true that your eyes become dim and scary when you happen to think ill against someone. Here is a funny yet touching words, to stay fit, share your food with the hungry. It is a written heavenly rule that we should feed the poor and the needy. These people are also our brothers and sisters. Since women are known to be compassionate, it is expected that they share their food to the hungry from time to time, as in literally. In that case, it is easy to maintain one's vital statistics.

Finally, to have poise, women should always think that they never walk alone. As daughters of God, women were considered princesses on earth. They should act and think this way in order to remain poised and dignified amidst all kinds of trials. Indeed, the beauty of a woman is found in her heart and expressed in her eyes and finally seen in her actions. Truly, the beauty of a woman is not only represented in her outward appearance but also reflected in her innate beauty.

My Regency Travel

My regency travel lately is full of excitement! The destination is not so popular and found in the highlands. They said that the place is nice and I wondered if there are still places around the metro that is so natural and comely. I used to live in such places during my younger years and swimming in the river is one of my hobby. On our way to the location, I was amazed seeing those numerous houses in different colors and styles. There was a small river with many ducks swimming in it. My regency travel ended as a surprise when we reached our destination that day.
At around seven in the morning, we reached the place. The area is so big and the surrounding is superb. The entrance is just simple yet comely. There was a small guest house near the gate and the owner of the resort said that there are only two available rooms at that time. In order to reach the water falls, we need to pass by our chosen cottage and go down in the river. The whole area is indeed clean and there are only few people enjoying the view. There are different kinds of cottages anywhere the area. The water is cool and most people went to the shallow part of the river.

What is surprising is that the area is like a valley and yet people still wants to visit there. Actually, it is like a hidden valley! There are no available stores within the vicinity of the resort hence, it is essential to bring your own food and other necessities. There are also natural spring fountain in the area which are made of bamboo. With the pictures below, my regency travel escapade is worth it.

Enlightening Text Message

" A Scientist told God that he longer needed Him. That scientist boasted of his ability to create human being referring cloning. As God is the source of all intelligence, he challenged the scientist for creating human contest. The scientist readily agreed and took dust to start. However, God said that the scientist must produce his own dust for the contest."

Indeed, it is an enlightening text message from a friend. The message of this story is clear- we needed Him in any way. For this life to succeed, it is not wise to contend with God's power and wisdom. The scientist failed to realize that cloning is just a game for the Creator. Such knowledge is too little compared to His ability to provide a blueprint for all creations and execute the same in an orderly and grand manner. People owe everything to the Creator and it is always true that what we have are all borrowed by His grace and infinite love. For one thing, we cannot accomplish something without asking His divine guidance.

For so many times I mentioned, that there are people who do not believe in God. I respect all of them. After all, freedom to decide on all things traveled with us away from his presence when we came here on earth to live life. Being commanded to produce his own ingredients to mold man, the scientist came to a realization that all knowledge belongs to the Creator. For sure, man has yet to discover on how to produce dust firsthand. For an enlightening text message to catch my attention, it must be spiritual and worth pondering. Here, I have been reminded of my resolve to depend in my Creator in all things that I need. I just have to work hard and leave the results to Him. As mentioned, faith without work is equivalent to nothing. Hence, this enlightening text message inspired me to correct my errors as a human being and avoid the shameful fate of the scientist.

Deal With Fate

Most people believe in destiny, just like me, they are fooled by its hopelessness. If a person would say, "you are destined to be his lover no matter what", then how would you react? There are two possible answers to this question. Looking into two perspective, I would answer the question this way: I will fight for my love no matter what, because I believe that we will end up together (that is when I am young and innocent, unable to distinguish puppy love from true love), and I will decide based on what is real and true no matter what, should there be trials and my love for him cannot withstand, it is not always true that I will be his lover no matter what (that is when I had many experiences when it comes to matters of the heart). Hence, I no longer believe in fate or destiny nowadays compared to my younger years. This time, I deal with fate fiercely.  

Essentially, our hearts are glued to the possibility of loving the person of our dreams. Indeed, lucky is the girl who gets to marry the man of her dreams. But, such thing happened because of the favorable decisions of the people involved in the situation. We should not hold on to the promise that there is fate or destiny for being in love is like residing in a gambling den. Should the heart falter and throb for anyone else, fate and destiny would depart the gates of hope and broken hearts start to spread in the lawn of love gambling den. Imagine how scary it is to feel regrets and witness one's spirit to be broken because there is a late yet sudden realization that there is no such thing as fate or destiny. In short, marry the person who truly loves you and not the man of your dreams who could be just a pigment of your imagination.

There is no such things as destiny. For one thing, a person has all the freedom to decide for himself or herself. A man has the freedom to choose the girl he would love, or choose to be dictated by the people around him. All the things that had happened are the product of all the decisions linked to its eventual occurrence. We are accountable for all the decisions we made. I would like to stress a point regarding environmental degradation. For the past generations, some of them allowed the environment to be eventually destroyed. Some of them fought for environmental protection. As to who will win the race, we witnessed various natural calamities that proved the existence of environmental abuse. Maybe, only few people who decided to fight for environmental protection. 

To deal with fate, people must remain versatile. There is no such thing as destiny, trust me. Leave the person behind who failed to fulfill his promises to make you happy. A woman's instinct is a useful tool in dealing with the painful process of staying true to one's self. After all, it is always reliable to depend on the love notice that it should be mind over matters of the heart. To deal with fate, the best way is to be fierce and witty. We might get hurt, but at least, we ended up whole and fulfilled than being a loser.

Are You A Risk Taker?

Are you a risk taker? This was a question asked during a job interview. Most of the interviewees, including me looked at the wall in front of us after we heard the question. There were three of us and all are girls. The interviewer is a friendly female who deserved to be smiled upon because she remained cool despite our inability to find the answer to the question. For me, something is brewing inside of us as the room was filled with tension. This is the last question asked and we need to answer the same for consideration to the next stage of the job application. Indeed, are you a risk taker?

Moments later, one interviewee replied, "Yes, I am a risk taker. For the fact that I lived very far away from here, I decided to embark on this journey to join the company for some personal reasons", and the interviewer just nodded. Later on, I managed to gain more hope of giving the right answer just to end the tension. I wonder where the tension started, it is obvious, but within me, there is nothing to fear, nothing to worry. I said "Yes, I am a risk taker. I managed to apply for this job and join this stage of the application process despite the fact that the job position is not within my educational background. At least, I have the courage to learn other things amidst this competitive world". The interviewer asked another question, what other things can you offer for the company? Since it was for me to handle, all eyes are glued at me, I answered, "just the assurance that I will help fulfill the company's visions".

The interviewer did not give any comment on my answer. She suddenly became busy staring at a young girl with tears flowing in her eyes. I noticed that the tension amidst us flew in other direction and it was replaced with curiosity. Why the tears, sweetheart? This could have been the meaning of the interviewer's gaze upon the girl. The girl cried and she was sitting beside me. She blurted out that she badly needed the job in order to survive. She needs to feed her newly-born baby and she was abandoned by the father of her child. Suddenly, I knew then the correct answer of the question, are you a risk taker? However, it was too late, before I could react, the opportunity to attend the next screening process was given to the crying interviewee. I stood up with the other girls and went to Jollibee for a refreshing lunch.

My Regency Emergency Pack

Calamity preparedness. I do not know why I need to be prepared just now. I am always reminded to prepare a seventy two hour kit. Pondering on this, calamity might not soon happen in our area, but at least I can be prepared. Hence, I decided on preparing my own version of the kit just to sprinkle the idea with fun.

My regency emergency pack consists of bank book, canned goods, noodle packs, beans, drinking water, powdered fruit juice, canned milk, biscuits, rice, candies, matchsticks, crackers, medicines, clean linens, and important personal documents. Years before, I decided to open a bank account just for calamity savings fund. In a duffel bag, I organized all the items. Most of the food products found in my regency emergency pack are to expire next year. When the next year passed and no calamity happened, I will utilize all the food products and everything that are about to expire and start collecting again new items for my regency emergency pack.

I also organized some of my personal documents like birth certificate, marriage certificate, NBI clearance, diplomas, insurance contract, and others. In addition, I always charge my cellular phone with a built-in flashlight in preparation. I also prepared an emergency pack for my husband the same way I prepared my regency emergency pack.

My Regency

Some of my readers in this blog asked me why I used the title My Regency and Best of Life to share my opinions and experiences in life. Basically, I am fond of reading fantasy stories involving Kings, Queens, Prince, Princess, and even castles. I am amazed on how a princess live her life and the way a prince learns to fight his enemies. In connection, regency means leading, reigning in a kingdom, and handling the royal court. On a personal basis, I believe that in the Kingdom of God, I am a princess because I was created in His image. I need to govern myself and care for my loved ones. I need to show leadership skills and look after my loved ones, friends, and even strangers.

My regency is in tune for this perspective. I reign in my own Kingdom. I must be a strong and valiant princess to fight against evil and negativity. Opposition is all over me, and it is my duty to decide properly for personal protection. My regency must be like a fortress against inevitable situations and uncompromising events. With that, preparation is the key. I must learn from my past mistakes. In turn, my regency will prevail no matter how scary that world is. Hence, my regency will continue forever and ever.

Message for my readers:

The only way that man can survive in this crazy world is to abide by the rules of the universe. Give what you want to receive. Help and get help. Kill and get killed. Working hard to earn a living is normal. Women are created and designed to be at par with men no matter how men want to dominate the earth. Throw positive things in the universe, it will do good to individuals. Above all, we are designed to be with families, we must keep family members in any way for peace, progress, and success in all our endeavors. Remember, life is a gift you were happy to receive ever since you were here. Do not waste it for nothing.
