Barbie Xu Wedding Details Leaked

Actually, I don't consider this as big news but knowing that Barbie Xu wedding details leaked, it's not really surprising. The media, her fans, including me want to know about the upcoming wedding of Barbie Xu and Wang Xiao Fei. I've scoured online news regarding their wedding for I want to know about their formal wedding banquet.

Reports mentioned that it will be held at a luxury hotel in Sanya, Hainan on March 22nd, a few days from now. The groom hopes for a low-profile, simple and memorable wedding despite their celebrity status. Also, I haven't seen a new photo of Barbie Xu and Wang Xiao Fei online so I was thinking that the wedding is considered as a secret. News about the couple aren't numerous too.

Barbie Xu Latest News

Here's Barbie Latest News post for today. I'm sure most of my readers knew that I'm a huge fan of Barbie. I had at least three blog posts about her. So let's start to explore the world of Barbie Xu (latest news) right at this moment.

First, it was reported that Barbie temporarily pauses filming new movie because of her injured right hand. The injury was specifically named as musculospiral nerve inflammation. According to my favorite website AsosOnline, "Barbie’s right hand is serious，she can not write, and can not hold chopsticks, no esthesis byacupuncture, but she didn’t forget to update her mini-blog to share her emotions." This is really a sad news knowing that Barbie usually gives her best in every movie or television show that she had worked on.

Gladly, it was reported recently that Barbie has come back to work dated October 17, 2010 in the morning.

This is not a recent news about Barbie Xu, but I'd like to post it here. According to AsosOnline, "Barbie Xu, accepted the award for Best Film Actress (Taiwan) for her role in “Forbidden City Cop” (On His Majesty’s Secret Agent) during The Channel V’s 14th Chinese Music Awards and Asian Influence Award held in Chengdu, China. The awards night was graced with big stars in Chinese music and the entertainment industry." It just shows that her acting really improved at this time. She deserves this award.

Finally, Barbie Xu turns 34 last October 6, 2010. I'd like to wish a Happy Belated Birthday for Barbie. So younger looking, so beautiful.

I hope you enjoyed Barbie (latest news) post, my friends!

Jerry Yan News

This is a collection of Jerry Yan news for the past four years. Admittedly, I am a fan of Jerry Yan from the time he played Dao opposite Barbie Xu in Meteor Garden I and II. Lately, I am no longer updated about Jerry Yan and so I had this collection of Jerry Yan news.

Stareastasia Entertainment News wrote that Taiwanese drama Hot Shot was shown in Taiwan. With the strong cast of Jerry Yan, Show Luo and Wu Chun, the drama is arguably one of the best drama of year 2008.

Besides, Jerry Yan will probably play as a famous General based on China’s Qing Dynasty. I have not heard any news that this project came into reality. We remember F4 also when Meteor Garden became hit across Asia. Although its members are leaving the agency, the group is still unforgettable.

Jerry Yan reportedly penetrated Japanese market lately. In order to expand his market in Japan, he signed in secret with Japanese Top boy group SMAP’s agent Johnny and Associates to act as his new manager. Jerry Yan's latest is a Taiwanese drama entitled Down With Love opposite Ella Chen. Jerry Yan will play a lawyer who is good at divorce and inheritance lawsuits, who is very cool, smart, sharp tongued, and cold. Ella Chen plays the role of a nanny of two children. I watched the first episode via Youtube and it is very interesting.

Some pictures.

Barbie Xu Latest News

The latest about her is the release of the official trailer of the movie Future X-cops which is obviously a futuristic film. She was paired with Andy Lau in this film then. My friends kept on telling me that I am a fan of Barbie Xu when Meteor Garden fever is still on the rise way back in 2004. Accepting such fact, I see to it that I am aware of Barbie Xu latest news. I watched via Internet Love At The Corner patiently because I like her acting in that show. The story is also refreshing. At first, her character is that of a spoiled brat rich kid and able to buy all the things she wants without reserve. That is why her love interest Qin Lang called her something like "glittery princess". The pressing part of the story was when she changed a lot and able to show compassion to the people who helped her when she lived a life she never wanted- that is being poor.

At present, Barbie Xu posed for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) for some ads. She mainly expressed her stand on animal cruelty. She was against killing animals for personal and commercial gain leaving them helpless. Barbie Xu showed her concern over animals killed in slaughterhouses and the they were handled. In her own words, "Animals are like my brothers and sisters, my friends and my family,  I love all animals. That’s why I won’t eat them.", Barbie Xu is the perfect representative for PETA. Besides, she also mentioned that "in addition to being cruelty-free, a healthy vegetarian diet helps protect against heart disease, cancer, strokes, and other diseases—and it can help you stay slim and sexy", which explains her slim and sexy figure.

Corner With Love

I am a certified drama addict as I would not stop watching the show until it wraps up. Since I love writing and reading literary pieces, I also watch telenovelas or soap opera just to learn how plot develops, different genre and its combination, and even how the characters embraced the story. I finished watching "Corner With Love" recently with matching remembrance of the TV-hit Meteor Garden I and II. This is because the lead female star of "Corner With Love" is the also the female lead star, and yes, I am talking about my favorite Barbie Xu.

The story is very interesting as this time, Barbie played the character of a rich princess named Sherry. Alan Lou played the leading man named Qin Lang who is an artist and a grandson of a famous oyster omelet cook. The story started in Shanghai when the family of Xin Lei (Barbie) are living while Qin Lang worked as oyster pancakes chef. The two characters met when the rich princess wanted Qin Lang to teach her how to prepare oyster pancakes. Xin Lei is about to marry a son of a rich couple. There are many twists and turns of the story aside from the fact that the title itself presents the possibilities of meeting anything good or bad in corners. When the family of Xin Lei experienced financial difficulties and announced bankruptcy before fleeing away and leaving behind their daughter, the life of Xin Lei changed. Her fiancée is also about to marry another girl for family business purposes. She was forced to transfer in Taiwan with a key and a house address in her hand. The said address turned out to be the house of Qin Lang! The rich princess tried to live the life before her, when there is no personal chef, driver, and housekeeper anymore. When she is about to love the people who accepted her in Taiwan, her ex-fiancée asked her to return to Shanghai. Her heart is for Qin Lang, but her fate is for her ex-fiancée who made her family take back their properties. Xin Lei decided to forget the past, but her mother (who happens to be the best friend of Qin Lang's mother and the co-owner of their house in Taiwan) allowed her to choose what she really want in life. Of course, the story ended well where Xin Lei went back to Taiwan with Qin Lang.

Barbie Xu is really a good actress while Alan Lou is very talented also. Besides, the drama Corner With Love has 16 episodes with genre romance/comedy. It is indeed, a magical story of two people who truly love each other.
