Mackenzie Foy will play as Robert Patinson and Kristen Stewart's half-vampire, half-human child in Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn II. I can't remember writing about Twilight in this blog and didn't have time to watch The Twilight Saga: New Moon. But when I found out that Mackenzie Foy is the chosen child actress to play Renesmee, I'm so excited! Now I'm reminded that Renesmee is the super-fast growing child of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.

Stareastasia Entertainment News wrote that Taiwanese drama Hot Shot was shown in Taiwan. With the strong cast of Jerry Yan, Show Luo and Wu Chun, the drama is arguably one of the best drama of year 2008.
Besides, Jerry Yan will probably play as a famous General based on China’s Qing Dynasty. I have not heard any news that this project came into reality. We remember F4 also when Meteor Garden became hit across Asia. Although its members are leaving the agency, the group is still unforgettable.
Jerry Yan reportedly penetrated Japanese market lately. In order to expand his market in Japan, he signed in secret with Japanese Top boy group SMAP’s agent Johnny and Associates to act as his new manager. Jerry Yan's latest is a Taiwanese drama entitled Down With Love opposite Ella Chen. Jerry Yan will play a lawyer who is good at divorce and inheritance lawsuits, who is very cool, smart, sharp tongued, and cold. Ella Chen plays the role of a nanny of two children. I watched the first episode via Youtube and it is very interesting.
Directed by Paul Greengrass, Greenzone is a very exciting piece. Matt Damon delivered his role excellently owing to his experiences in war movies. In this Greenzone movie review, we tend to link political decisions during Bush administration from fiction to reality. The questions asked in watching the movie could be: Is it real? Did Bush did that? What is the role of Poundsgate in executing the Bush policy in Iraq? Most of the scenes in the movie are breathtaking. The location seemed real and the actors stayed true to their roles. The setting and plot of Greenzone might have been an aftermath of Iraq invasion but the war scenes are still very interesting.
The movie became interesting when it allowed a decent Iraqi named Freddie love his country. He became the translator of Matt Damon's character Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller. At first, Freddie's actions and motives seemed suspicious. Later on, it would easy for viewers to realize that his real intention is to help his country gain stability. Like any other patriotic fellow, Freddie killed the person who knew later knew the truth that there were really no weapons of mass destruction. These alleged weapons of mass destruction stored in Iraq allowed Bush administration to intervene in Iraqi's political state. Many people were thinking who or what Magellan is including Chief Roy Miller himself, the Veteran CIA operative Marty, Wall Street Journal reporter Lawrie Dayne, and others. It was Veteran CIA operative Marty told Chief Roy Miller that the said weapons of mass destruction is not existing.
In the end, Chief Roy Miller realized that General Al Rawi is Magellan, the person linked to Poundsgate for telling a false story. Hence, he chased after the general and confirmed the truth. On the other hand, Poundsgate's men also chased after General Al Rawi's group to kill them and prevent the leakage of the political secret. But, it was Freddie who killed General Al Rawi telling Chief Roy Miller that it was not the latter who should decide on what happened in that situation. After all, Freddie just want a stable and peaceful country reflecting the intents of many Iraqis that they do not want their country to be led by a puppet of the American government. Chief Roy Miller was successful in his attempt to know the truth behind Magellan and forwarded documents as proof of the errors linked to the Magellan case.
The Shilla Dynasty has been shown for the first time in an extra-ordinary show way back in 2009, The Great Queen Seon Deok. Shown in some countries in Southeast Asia, many people were aware of the show and its power to capture the hearts of every viewer. Everyone who knew about the show searched over the web finding relevant news about the television series, most especially the actors portraying their respective roles. Although the story was swayed away from the real historical facts and figures, the writer who caused its story to be very enticing allowed all viewers to watch each and every scene with awe.
The television series, the Great Queen Seon Deok was shown as a historical drama in South Korea. Young Deokman was forced to be taken away from the palace to avoid evil Mishil’s might and influence to eliminate the royal family and place herself to power. As a twin princess, she was forced to relinquish her rights and privileges shortly after her birth just to save the royal family. For so many years, she lived a life away from the palace having an opportunity to collect experiences and knowledge to aid her future dream to rule Shilla. Apart from the political issues found in the story, the Great Queen Seon Deok allowed its viewers to feast on the culture and lifestyle of the Shilla Dynasty as the actors portrayed their roles very well both in acting and in fashion. The juiciest part is the love story of Bidam and Queen Seon Deok which originated from the time they met until their last breath. There was no happy ending of the story but the scenes blended with the right emotions were captivating and could compel viewers to cry, recall, reject, accept, and get contented.
Finally, the most captivating portrayal in the show is the character of Lady Mishil. Being an influential courtier and political strategist, she was able to forward her dream to gain the throne but failed to snatch the crown away from the Great Queen Seon Deok. Lady Mishil died killing herself after trying to gain the throne, leaving all viewers in question as to the fate of her abandoned son with King Jinji named Bidam. However, viewers were in gloom witnessing the death of Bidam ten paces away from the Great Queen Seon Deok because he led a revolution against the first female ruler of Shilla.
Friends kept asking on the whereabouts of Deokman and Bidam love story. Here, we are talking about the Queen Seon Deok drama series. When questions were asked, I was not able to answer, but when I perused on the topic deeply, I realized that Deokman and Bidam's love story was indeed engaging. There was even no hint from me about the said love story. In episode 33 part 7, it was there that I realized the connection. From there, I could provide my own opinion on Deokman and Bidam love story as I go along up to the last episode.
On Bidam, he appeared in the drama series when both Yushin Rang and Deokman were resting while a long trail of hiding from their enemies. Later on, he saved Deokman when the latter was surrounded with enemies. The next thing he did, he asked Deokman to confide to Munno, his master, that he helped both Yushin and Deokman. The heart of a young man who never had the chance of being with his great mother Lady Mishil and King Jinji was intertwined in the strength of another great person, Deokman. For many instances, he was so inspired with the way Deokman handled her fate. She was the only person who showed gratitude to him. She was the only person who accepted him with her whole heart. The kind of person Deokman is what binds her with Bidam in different circumstances knowing the unpredictability of Bidam.
On Deokman, she was grateful that Bidam considered her a woman. She enjoyed the person's company with much sincerity and enthusiasm. For so many times, Bidam saved Deokman no matter how difficult the circumstances may be. She showed great respect and trust for Bidam which created a stir to her followers and even enemies. For who was this man she fell in love with? Bidam is Lady Mishil's son, Deokman's foe. When Deokman became Queen, Bidam vowed to himself that he would take everything away from her, of course this was tainted with Lady Mishil's death by drinking poison. Bidam thought one way of getting everything he wants is to marry the Queen or seize the crown for himself to rule.
Is Bidam really a bad person when he led a rebellion against Queen Seon Deok? Looking back, there was no moment that his love faltered. Only when his mother, before its death, hinted an evil plan for him to accomplish, Bidam was swayed by her mother's followers to seize the crown. Betrayed by a follower, Bidam thought that Queen Seon Deok betrayed him when in fact she was willing to abdicate the crown and live with him. It was too late, Bidam was declared an enemy of the state and had to die in her presence. Bidam was not really bad, he was just surrounded by people who are more than willing to play with his emotions just to get what they want. Being abandoned by her mother after his birth, he was raised by Munno but the latter never showed affection for him. Despite the fact that he was a person who grew up with a blade and always ready to kill an enemy, he took care of his master before its death before anything else. Besides, he fulfilled his promise to Deokman before his last breath, to call her by her name- Deokman- as if their world is other than Shilla and the crown that was adorned in her head.
Queen Seon Deok is not a typical movie that ventures on a love story. Aside from the fact that it is based on history, the presentation of the story is quite witty. With that, we will check one by one the major elements of Queen Seon Deok movie. Let us start with the story flow. Basically, it did not stray away from history except for the love story between Queen Seon Deok and Bidam. I suspect that it was done so in order to entice the audience to feel the emotions. Others would call it a forbidden love affair. A queen in that era never has to fall in love with someone; otherwise it would plant dissent among the people. Fervently, a viewer who really fathomed the depth of love would not stop believing that Queen Seon Deok and Bidam would end up in each other’s arms amidst difficulties. But no, both of them died breaking the hearts of most viewers which would make me conclude that there is no way to change history just to grant each viewer’s longing for a happy ending. Is it not so compelling and arduous to see the queen showing her sacred royal tears while her beloved Bidam died ten paces away from her? It was out of the subterfuges concocted by Bidam’s followers betraying him.
For the production, it is surely admitted that the cost was expensive. The performances of each cast are superb knowing that they did it to show the Shilla Dynasty for the first time in Korean drama production. Let us discuss the protagonist and the antagonist- Queen Seon Deok and Lady Mishil. Queen Seon Deok is the first female monarch in Korean history. On the other hand, Lady Mishil stole the attention of the viewers for her portrayal as the Beholder of the Seal. Her presence showed the colorful lifestyle and culture of Shilla as developed by Queen Seon Deok. As the ultimate foe, she managed to collect myriad influences at her disposal just to gain the throne. Hence, was it right for her to abandon her own son just to ascend to the throne? No, it is not. In the end, she thought that her abandoned son named Bidam would acquire the throne for herself by possessing Queen Seon Deok via marriage ties. However, the Queen herself is aware that no one could possess her. As a result, the tragic and forbidden love story unfolded before the frustrated viewers. The Queen Seon Deok movie gained the 2009 Best Korean Drama award.
