Four Hours at Boracay, Philippines

Boracay is a very popular summer destination in the world. Many celebrities from the four corners of the globe have visited the island. Because of its popularity, my husband and I decided to check the place by land travel.

We boarded a plane to Iloilo City. We decided to visit three places during the trip – Iloilo City, Guimaras and Boracay Island. Our best chance to do it on time – before our flight back to Manila – is to catch a bus from Iloilo City to Kalibo, Aklan. Luckily, there are many cars for rent and buses in the place for land trip arrangements. Now, I remember the ease of relying on Car Rental Philippines services. It was an adventure, I must say.

On our way to Kalibo, Aklan, some burly kids threw stones in the bus. I wasn’t afraid because the driver of the bus didn’t mind the kids and just drove quickly to our destination.

Upon our arrival, we realized that it’s already the last trip of the boat trip. We have to sleep in the port and wait for the first trip the next day. That’s why we only had four hours in Boracay that time.
