Valentine's Day is fast approaching so I am thinking of a new way to celebrate the occasion. For the past three years, I've experienced eating in my favorite restaurant during Valentine's Day. So I want to have a unique celebration this year.

I'm really hoping to celebrate Valentine's Day at Watercamp Resort in Cavite. I wanted to try their meals. Since the resort has amazing restaurants, I am planning to reserve a particular time to try their menu. Watercamp Resort has a fabulous place to dine like Little Josephine Food Service outlet. It is located at the ground floor of the Pavilion 1. Its menu line-up includes breakfast, one-dish meals in bowls for lunch or dinner, sandwiches, snacks, and beverages.

We're so happy to know the news since we have been asking for a resort-related activity since we started working on the said company. I Still Love Search Engine Optimization

It's true. I've reached to the point of leaving search engine optimization in my "to bury list" after my discovery of its strangeness and difficulty to please. I don't know how other bloggers and webmasters still love such demanding yet artistic approach of online marketing. I guess, I'm just too overwhelmed with the maze park of SEO.

But now, I feel refreshed and so invigorated because almost all of my blogs got higher page ranks. After all, my search engine optimization efforts aren't flushed to nowhere. I've been thinking about this because I'm sure that the upcoming 2NE1 concert here in the country would be a blast. That means lots of fans will go to the concert venue to watch the said show of their favorite Korean girl group. Bloggers Fest At Thunderbird Resorts Rizal

I've been talking about the recent Bloggers Fest in my other blogs. Well, this My Regency post about the event is for my friendly visitors here. The said event was held last April 16, 2011 at Thunderbird Resorts, Rizal area. There were 200 plus bloggers who attended the event, including me and hubby. :) Even here, I'll say that I really like the way all the organizers handled the Bloggers Fest 2011 with the help of the sponsors and also the speakers who provided valuable knowledge about blogging.

I was just reading the major news at CNN when a story about Burqa Ban in Paris caught my attention. I'm thinking, what's Burqa? As I go along the news, I've learned that it refers to wearing the niqab- the full Islamic face veil that reveals only the eyes. There was a law in Paris to ban wearing the niqab that caused confusion and contention among many people living there. That was because there existed in Paris, France more than five hundred people wearing niqab.

Referring to the situation, the question goes like this: to veil or not to veil?

I'm not part of France. In my own opinion, people should be informed of the burqa ban in Paris. Maybe, the reason of the confusion and contention is lack of information.If there will be issues beyond that, then it will surely brings up religious issues. Tiana O'Brien and her schoolfriend Ayla Fenton, both 17, greeted the Prince with a sign reading: "I'll be your princess."

These people continue to work in shifting arrangement to prevent the full nuclear meltdown. "Don't give up!". This has been the words of the Japanese Emperor during a rare TV appearance. He urged his people to withstand the difficult situation they're facing. Personally, I don't want to blog about what happened in Japan because I can't imagine their difficulties, the magnitude is too incomprehensible. No matter how organized, resilient and self-reliant a Japanese amidst the situation, help is still needed.

First, there was a destructive earthquake which caused damage to properties and individuals. Moments later, a tsunami alert allowed inhabitants barely eight minutes to find security in higher grounds. This caused a problem to the sick and elderly, people who can't run as fast as they could. Most of them died according to the news. Later on, there's a growing radiation threat against those who live near the nuclear plants devastated by the tsunami. Also, the rubble-strewn wastelands after the tsunami in Northeast Japan were covered by snow which made it difficult to find survivors. Knowing that the supplies of food, water and fuel run low, imagine how difficult it is for them. For me, it's unimaginable, unfathomable and unpredictable.

Here's what I did. I collected colorful beads and twisted the items with wire. Then, I took some small Swarovski crystals in my collection to match with the beads. After some experiments for the perfect and simplest fashion design for a necklace, here's what I got.

We already know that the royal wedding was scheduled on April 29, 2011. I'm thinking that people who can't attend the event for myriad reasons just go for any of the wedding memorabilia. Lately, there's a big news that Kate Middleton gets advice from Camilla Parker Bowles ahead of royal wedding schedule.

In Koffman's new restaurant, Camilla Parker Bowles, Kate Middleton and her sister Pippa with Camilla Parker Bowles' daughter Laura Lopez were having a conversation about the wedding. Recently, it was also reported that Kate's style is already copied worldwide by shoppers. Her simple fashion choice became so popular that most of copycat dresses sold out fast.

What Makes Me Loud

What makes me loud? Simple. I have more than ten blogs. Don't laugh at me, right? It's just me, organizing blogs. So, what makes it dispersed is the idea of segregating the usual "niche". I'd like my posts about politics, law, business, philosophy, dogs, cooking and many more segregated in different blogs. Although I'm neglecting one fourth of the count, I still keep track of all my blogs, self-hosted and Blogspot-powered.

Also, blogging allowed me to be friends with lovely ladies from other countries, mostly beauty bloggers. That's also the result of my love of "pink" hues found in beauty blogs. It's also exciting to join in contests, like this one, hosted by Nuffnang Philippines. I'm so grateful with blogger friends who occasionally visit by blog too.

I'm inspired to post about management tips since I really want to be effective and efficient in my tasks. I need to slow down on my work in order to focus on my health. So, time management is necessary coupled with handy management tips.

Here's the point, the skills that made a person successful won't last forever. That's why it is essential to develop new skills and expand one's network. For example, my first work involves legal research and legal writing. Thinking that I won't be doing it forever, I need to learn academic writing, business writing, management skills and even blogging. I did widen my horizon by studying many other writing-related skills.

I'm afraid of the risks in not updating my skills, too. Why? The demands of time are always changing, it's safe to prepare for whatever circumstances to come. I can't imagine if writing skills will become outdated in the next twenty years. Lastly, it's also important to become valuable in the organization where you belong. It's one way of expanding networks and having opportunities.

I've been reading blogging news lately. I got sick, so I really can't post as many topics as I want. For a quick post, I just want to share blogging news from well-known search engine optimization consultants online.

1. It's important to prepare an original blog post. The idea of copying from other sites may harm the ranking of your site. I'm sure this is self-explanatory. I'm writing this because I still bump on blogs with posts copied from other sites.

2. Bing announced of it's detailed stats feature. I'm planning to extend my search engine optimization efforts with Bing. They're getting even more noticed lately.

3. Google is going to launch Google Music. Just wait for additional news about this: "Google wants to launch a music service that lets users buy songs and have them downloaded into the cloud – accessible from anywhere". (WebProNews)

Mackenzie Foy will play as Robert Patinson and Kristen Stewart's half-vampire, half-human child in Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn II. I can't remember writing about Twilight in this blog and didn't have time to watch The Twilight Saga: New Moon. But when I found out that Mackenzie Foy is the chosen child actress to play Renesmee, I'm so excited! Now I'm reminded that Renesmee is the super-fast growing child of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 will be released in November of this year. I'll surely watch the sequel. It's Part 2 will follow in November 2012. I hope to know more about Mackenzie Foy. Are you a Twilight fan? Come on, share your thoughts.

Seven Things That You Still Don't Know About Me

1. I'm afraid of snakes. Really. If I can see the smallest snake in the street or anywhere, I'll run, though the said snake is apparently dead. Even in my dreams, I'm afraid of snakes. I remember I cried in a dream because I saw a lot of snakes. It turns out a friend of mine betrayed me.

I saw a small snake in this area, a few blocks away from our home.

2. I'm a cry-baby. It's easy for me to cry, especially if something that I've known is sad, touching and heart-warming. I've watched sad movies that made me cry. I've seen an old woman which made me cry. I cried when our dog, Enzo, almost died last year. Maybe I'm compassionate? I hope so.

3. I lost interest in taking the BAR examinations. Really. But I'm trying to console myself. Maybe because I failed that the trials are so overwhelming. I still want to be a lawyer, yes. But, I'm busy with other interests. I lost track of my dreams. Thankfully, I still have chances. One day, I'll get back on track with God's help.

4. I love gardening. When I was young, I used to participate in planting activities, season by season. Yes, I'm a farmer by heart. In our small front yard at home, I planted a mango tree which is Indian mango. On the other side, I planted Rambutan fruit. We have also lemon grass, malunggay, flowers and herbal plants. Imagine the means by which I should arrange our small front yard.

5. I love seafood. That explains why I have seafood recipes in my food blog, Cuisine Delight. I grew up in an area wherein the other side of a mountain and the sea are neighbors, the national highway is in between. I miss the abundance of farm products and seafood as ingredients for meals since I'm already here in Manila.

6. I'm workaholic. I don't know, but I love the thrill of working hard when a project is in line with my interests and very rewarding. Blogging? I have so many blogs, in different niches, on free platforms and not. I have so many books in my home office table. As of this writing, I'm about to finish James Mawdsley's The Heart Must Break. I bought that book for less than a dollar at Booksale. He's a British-Australian human rights activist fighting for Democracy in Burma. Come on, Google him. :)

7. I love writing. It's obvious because I'm practicing my writing skills most of the time. I like writing short stories, short novels, poems and blog reviews. The first poem that I wrote was lost because of my constant transfer of boarding houses when I was still a student. I also learned real court cases because I know a skill about legal writing. I earned my first "huge earning" because of writing that I was able to buy gadgets, home appliances and others even before I got married. Those are blessings from Him, I must claim.

Global Tourism

I'm inspired to write about this topic here since I remember helping or just looking at tourists in the country. They're roaming around here for various reasons such as business, island hopping, getting married, educational purpose, work-related and many more. However, it's surprising to know that global tourism proved to be growing in some parts of the world including Asia.

According to CNN International, "Asia was the first region to recover and the strongest growing region in 2010, with a 13 percent increase. International tourist arrivals into Asia reached a new record at 204 million last year, up from 181 million in 2009, the UNWTO said."

For sure this provides a strong effect on revenue and jobs for developing countries. No wonder a lot of foreigners take their business to "booming Asia" as relayed earlier by CNN International. More and more tourists are coming over and join the hype of global tourism, and then business ventures. Of course, this is a good news for Asian countries and other regions in the world with increase in global tourism percentage.

I just drank a bottle of Minute Maid Pulpy. They say it’s got ‘no preservatives added’. Aw, c’mon…It’s bottled juice. Is that even possible? So I thought maybe... it was just my pessimistic mind. It won't hurt if I'll think it over and know the truth.

I didn’t believe it the first time I heard it’s got no preservatives added. So I read the ingredients (even the fine print) and everything checked out! It really has NO PRESERVATIVES ADDED! That means it doesn’t have ingredients that may turn out to be allergens, or worse...carcinogens! Whew! Now that’s healthy goodness that tastes so good, I... just love it! That also means it's high in antioxidants which prevents various forms of cancer and prostate cancer.

So okay, it’s got no preservatives added. That’s really good, right? Not just because it doesn’t have those icky, harmful ingredients, but it also means... it has high percentage of Vitamin C which helps boost immune system. I'm sure it has potassium which is an essential nutrient for the body to reduce risk of heart disease.

So far anyone who still has a hard time believing that Minute Maid has got no preservatives added - meaning it's THAT natural, it's almost like it's plucked straight from the tree, it's just as Mother Nature wanted your orange juice to be, it's got nothing but the good stuff yes, none of those potentially toxic stuff that can harm your brain, kidneys, heart; cause tumors aargh- the list of preservatives' bad effects just go on!!! T-shirts are the best outfit in doing many of our activities at home, in school and at work. When I play badminton or work on our garden, I prefer using loose t-shirt for purposes of comfort. When it comes to shopping, I also choose t-shirts because I know I'll be fitting a lot of clothes and wearing t-shirt makes it easy for me to do it. Comfort and style is also applicable in wearing simple t-shirts. You just have to pair it with denims or any suitable clothing for a t-shirt to look classy and stylish. This time, we will talk about custom T shirts in this blog post.

When I was in college, customized t-shirt printing is a hit. If we happen to be members of a school organization, wearing a customized t-shirt representing the organization is required. Custom T shirts are common in school, especially in major activities in the academe. Thankfully, custom T shirts are affordable that time that we were able to collect many pieces. I like the color of the t shirt. In fairness, the print is isn't messy and the color combination isn't annoying to look at. The size of the shirt is small, and it fits him well. It's in heavy cotton so wearing the shirt is very comfortable. The mascot monkey print looks vivid in a real t-shirt compared to what is shown online.

Dislikes

Nothing. Custom t-shirts are usually made to adapt the style you want. Since the design is nice and the materials used in the shirt are in good quality, there's no reason to dislike the product.

I've been planning to share my gardening photos in this blog. However, I was so busy in the past few days that I don't have much time sorting gardening photos. Honestly, my blog posts lately was done within 10 to 15 minutes per post because of time constraints. Our garden is not huge since we used the front space of our home to plant vegetables, flowers and mango. I'll post later about our little mango plant. Kate Middleton Royal Wedding Glimpse

Here's my Kate Middleton royal wedding glimpse post today. Since we love to talk about Kate Middleton, we'll record here some of the highlights of the Royal Wedding. Earlier, we've read over online news that there will be no ponies for a princess since royal-bride-to-be Kate Middleton will take car rather than fairytale horse-drawn carraige to wedding venue. In that sense, she will arrive at Westminster Abbey as a commoner but will emerge as a real princess at a planned pompous ceremony of a British royal wedding. Low-key, isn't it? It's also an indication that for the first time, there will be no horse-drawn carriage arrival of a bride to a royal wedding.

According to Daily Mail, in contrast with their low-key arrival at the Abbey, Prince William and his bride will emerge to an impressive spectacle including thousands of marching soldiers, military bands and mounted regiments. The April 29th big event plans has also been tweeted by Prince Charles, according to Daily Mail. Here's the Daily Mail's record on the tweets:

The long string of Tweets, all written in less than 140 characters, were posted over several minutes.

They were:

    * Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton have made more decisions on their upcoming wedding. More tweet to follow.
    * Miss Middleton will travel to Westminster Abbey by car.
    * The route will include The Mall, Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall and Parliament Square.
    * The wedding service will begin at 11am.
    * The Archbishop of Canterbury will marry Prince William and Miss Middleton, and the Bishop of London will give the address.

Lastly, Prince William and Kate Middleton's guests will include some foreign dignitaries and VIPs, as well as some ordinary citizens who the prince has come to know through his 20 good causes.

Honeysuckle as 2011 Color of the Year

As I was surfing the web lately, I found out that Pantone announced the color of the year. The vibrant hue of 2011 is Honeysuckle. If you'll surf the web about this one, you'll stumble a lot of flowers called Honeysuckle. It has different colors. This year, the blushing pink honeysuckle is the most-celebrated color.

According to their website, Pantone LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of X-Rite, Incorporated, and is the world-renowned authority on color. It is a provider of color systems which has been used all over the world. I was really thinking of knowing the shade that they're going to announce this New Year.

Imagine Honeysuckle. It's a festive reddish pink, they say. Nice, right? You knew that pink is my favorite color.

Here are my thoughts on Honeysuckle. Honeysuckle as 2011 Color of the Year makes me re-think and re-do.

Pantone directed that Honeysuckle emboldens us to face everyday troubles with verve and vigor. Since it's a dynamic reddish pink, Honeysuckle is encouraging and uplifting. It elevates our psyche beyond escape, instilling the confidence, courage and spirit to meet the exhaustive challenges that have become part of everyday life.

This is what i really need this New Year -vigor. I lost track of my past plans and aspirations. I'm beginning to be a happy-go-lucky lost princess. Albeit the occasional re-building, I tend to sway a little. Challenges are indeed exhaustive.

My World Is Shaking

My excitement for the last two hours is visible. Mom prepared so many food and drinks for us to enjoy. Outside our house, people were busy preparing things for New Year. I've overheard somewhere during morning walks that New Year celebration must be special. That also explains my excitement.

When I was young, New Year isn't fun. I just stayed in my room and eat my share of spaghetti and fruit salad. Although I wasn't so happy at that time, I love the taste of spaghetti. Also, missing my buddy (now my cute boyfriend) added my "drama". That New Year, I just sleep and welcomes the next morning with ease.

This time, we don't have spaghetti. I wasn't disappointed, though. The carbonara recipe my Mom prepared is so delicious! As I'm eating my share, I look at my boyfriend with a smile. I'm thinking to take half of her share once she's done. By that time, my wish that she won't finish eating her carbonara will be granted.

I took some fruit salad in the counter. There's a piece of cake in the table, yet I chose to eat cookies. I stayed in a corner to enjoy the food. Now that I'm seven years old, I felt that New Year is special. I enjoy the music too. When I hear Charice Pempengco sing "Pyramid" and her "Glee" music, I feel like I'm in love.

Mom said that it's almost midnight. I'm so excited with the idea of facing a new year. That would be fun, I guess. However, I'm beginning to wonder what's going on outside our house. There's a huge fire, I'm not sure. Noise is also undeniable. Later on, it became to frightening like there's an incoming war! I heard that bombs were thrown everywhere like in the movie "Band of Brothers" that Mom always watch with Dad. There's a whistling sound, then a really huge 'bang" later on. My feet started to shake and I can no longer walk. Should I take my belongings and prepare for evacuation? How about my boyfriend who seems not afraid of the situation. It felt so strange. Maybe, I'll just pretend that it's not yet the end of the world.

Since I was so shaking out of unimaginable fear, Mom embraced me. That made me so calm and secured. I never thought that New Year isn't fun for a fearful dog like me. Yes, my name is Ice but it's so funny that I wasn't shaking because of cold ice, but because of New Year bombs like triangle, Super Lolo, fountain and many others.

I've been thinking on what to post here this time. Since I need to evaluate what is my weakest point this year, I decided to write about Ultimate Money Guide based on my favorite magazine, Marie Claire. Yes, I'm not good in money management. Although there is improvement this year, I still want to hit my target-complete my homemaking wish list. I want to remodel our house. I want a functional kitchen. I want to save more for future expenses. I want to save for our insurance. There are so many things to do.

I'll just pick up the Ultimate Money Guide I could grasp from the magazine. Join me in checking our evaluation on these items.

Develop a simple personal statement of assets and liabilities. I'm talking here of net worth. Net worth is the difference between our estimated amount of liabilities and our assets. It determines our financial health. In order to do our personal statement of assets and liabilities, we just need to write in a notebook our sources of income in one column and our expenses in another. The clue here is just to make it really simple.

Track our expenses. This is essential because its our way of gauging if we live within our means. If we discover that we spend more money on things we can live without, we must do something to change it.

Create budget. On my part, I create weekly budget, yet I'm not able to follow it. However, this is alright as long as I did it on balance. It's important to be realistic here. Our ability to balance and project self-discipline matter.

Debt management. Talking about credit cards isn't avoidable here. If you own a credit card, it's like you declare that you owe company money, right? But this is not bad, as long as you're good in debt management. There are three things to do when in comes to debt due to owning credit card. First, pay with cash if you can. Second, pay off the card that charges the highest rate of interest first. It's one way of reducing your debt. Third, be disciplined. Remember, credit cards are not bad to your finances if used properly. Buying assets through your card is good.

Savings and investment. It's important to exercise caution in using savings money for investment purposes. Also, the "save then spend" process is still helpful for proper money management. Right now, I have a separate savings for kitchen renovation at home.

Finally, we'll write our money mantra. You can write your own money mantra too. It's up to you. Here's mine.

I will seize every opportunity to save money or invest it when the time is right. I will eliminate severe debts. I will walk away from a store without unnecessary expenses. I will continue depositing in my "untouchable" savings account. I will not be selfish because of money and any money problems. We had our annual Children Christmas Party in our community yesterday. My sister helped me organize the party since other neighbors were busy preparing food. Our theme is just simple- anything barbecue-related. We had hotdogs and marshmallows barbecue which are considered fave food of the children. They liked the food so much.

Before eating time, we had a short program. Most of the children sang songs. Three girls danced to the tune of California Girls by Katie Perry. My favorite presentation is a song rendered by Natasha, who sang "A Whole New World".

There was also a message given by a young mother. Her talk is about "The Spirit of Christmas". She mentioned that the real meaning of Christmas is true love and concern for other people, especially the needy. After the talk, gift giving follows.

There were children who really enjoyed the games. Their favorite is Camel Race Bible Trivia Questions Game since it gave them the opportunity to learn and recall bible characters. It's a printable bible quiz ideal for children gathering. It's really amazing because Python Printable Games company made the said product to make a Christmas party for children so memorable. My Review. The Camel Race Bible Trivia Questions Game is really a nice party game for children. The children love the game, especially when they received amazing prizes. For me, it's the perfect game we had this year because not only the children were entertained, they also learned bible lessons.

It wasn't hard for me to do it because I love printable games found online. Python printable games products isn't new to me either since I've been reading and using their products, lately. Overall, the children party organized in our community is a success.

It's my habit to check international news before heading to Facebook, Yahoo, Gmail and other sites. I also stop over at Daily Mail since there are many interesting news delivered by the site about UK and its people. Every visit includes news about snow, very destructive snow. In my first visits of the site, I thought it wasn't a problem and that it's normal. But this time around, a Daily Mail contributor wrote this one: planes grounded, thousands of festive holidays ruined, roads ungritted and others, meaning "not their finest hour". I cannot say in happy tune that the country where I belong don't have this kind of problem. I know how difficult it is on their part.

Imagine the scene where millions of people where stranded because it snowed. Imagine how cold it is for them. Imagine the massive destruction of the festive period for millions of people. Not a good experience, really. And I heard that it's the worst this year.

Mostly those who were affected people were so angry, yes. But then there's no one who could start the snow from dumping. It's part of nature. The best thing to do is prevent any untoward damage to the people and their properties.

Their question surrounds on the ability of Britain to solve the problem, knowing that the holidays is here. The transport system is very chaotic, that's why. Because it snowed, Christmas-related activities of the people were severely affected. But don't get me wrong, people work harder to solve the problem. Because it snowed, people were asking if they could refund their airline tickets. I hope it will solved as early as possible.

They should take this as a lesson. Preparation is a key in everything. What was last year's condition? That could be a measure for this time.

Dog Blog Post

I'm so excited to share this dog blog post over My Regency. Our dogs, Enzo and Ice, turned one this month. In dog years, that would mean they're seven years old. That explains their funny behavior and notable dog intelligence. They're not professionally trained but they always understand our requests.

The reason that we had these two pets is for protection or safety. They understood that very well. Enzo used to chase after rats, which amazed me. Ice used to protect us from insects. We're always warned in almost anything because they're there ready for their jobs. Since they used to bark like lunatics, people don't mess in our area. That's good for thieves to spare us, I think.

Five Unique Photos A Day Project

I only have one wish for this Christmas: to live life to the fullest by keeping footprints of memories. I want to enjoy my thirtieth year on earth more than the past years. I know it can only be done by having a happy, healthy, industrious and righteous way of living plus a sense of being organized.

I devised an exciting plan to accomplish this wish. I need to complete a project called Five Unique Photos A Day within the entire year of 2011. The first photo should be taken while I'm on a happy mood, the second is about anything healthy, the third is about my day in the office or any work-related, the fourth one is a photo taken at a church activity and the last one is a random photo. The said random photo may include a unique car, a snapshot of our dogs, a photo of my attendance in a charitable work and many others. It's interesting, right? That would make me so busy everyday plus a chance to explore my new-found love of photography. Yes, I'm just new in the field. I'm not a professional photographer. But as you know, it's impossible to write a really nice blog post without a nice photo.

So, you ask: What is the rationale of the Five Unique Photos A Day project? It isn't a joke snapping at least 54, 750 photos a year. Plus, I'll have an additional task of having the photos printed and placed in nice albums. It's a good thing we've just bought a new printer for my photos to be printed. Well, I have reasons why I want to accomplish my wish for this Christmas in the most exciting way:

First, it's for genealogy and record-keeping purposes. The next generation after mine need lots of photos, I'm sure. My collection will help them a lot, especially for genealogy purposes.They'll have a glimpse of their past though my wide collection of photos;

Second, it's for blogging photo collection. Because I have so many blog, I developed this habit of snapping and collecting random photos for a good post; and

Finally, I'll be able to accomplish my wish of living life to the fullest by taking photos of very essential daily tasks like living a happy life, choosing a healthy lifestyle, working hard, being a good citizen and keeping records and photos of amazing things life could offer. I'm also able to influence my loved ones and friends to live a happy and balanced life.

Yet, I have a problem. I need a handy, useful and technologically-advanced gadget to help me complete the task. As of now, I don't have one. Why not wish for a Nokia C7? Do I want a Nokia C7 for Christmas? Yes, I really need that kind of Nokia phone for my Five Unique Photos A Day project this coming 2011. A Nokia C7 phone is perfect for my daily snapping of photo task. In using the said phone, videos and images look sharp on the vivid 3.5" high-resolution display. Aside from that, it can capture high-quality photos and HD video using the 8 megapixel camera. How cool is that? The said Nokia phone is a perfect companion to make the coming year so memorable and fruitful. It's so amazing.

I wish I'll have a Nokia C7 this Christmas. I hope I can finish my project for this coming year. Also, I'm deserving for a Nokia C7 this Christmas because I'm an industrious blogger. I blog to influence other bloggers and friends to always look at the brighter side of life and keep fighting for the universal good. The legacy I'll leave for the next generation is noble. Hence, I know all the good things I want in life will be mine.

Eveready Moments Rewind

I'm fond of watching action films, especially those that has been patterned on real life stories and historical events. My favorite action films include Band of Brothers, Pearl Harbor, Platoon and The Pacific. I know, you noticed that all these films include US Rangers stories and their line of duty. There's a feeling of happiness and contentment that I was able to watch these movies thrice.

So, what's the connection with this introduction on Eveready Moments Rewind? Once upon a time, I had two Uncles who were serving the country as members of the Army. We had nice memories with these two amazing individuals because they've been close to our family. The other one (named as Mr. M) is not married, so it's not surprising that he spent a lot of time with his nephews and nieces, including me. It's still fresh in my mind when we cheer out loud every time he visits our humble dwelling. In most cases, our treats include nice meals, candies, bread and school supplies. He's the happiest when all of us gladly accepted his presents. For so many years, he'd been with us sharing positive thoughts and strength every time we need it.

The last time I saw him was when he's trying to hop in a bus but unexpectedly fell down. Thankfully, the driver waited for him to finally join the ride to work. Two days later, we had a gathering in the nearby village. This time, I'm with childhood friends and cousins. Since we used to listen to the radio, we brought with us a portable radio set and Eveready batteries. We don't want to miss listening to our favorite music and drama programs. As children, we usually prefer radio broadcasts than television because of the interesting drama programs. Also, we had tons of Eveready batteries prepared at home in case we need it. In between nice radio programs; local, national and international news are usually aired. That fateful Friday afternoon, we heard over the radio a sad news that our beloved uncle, Mr. M was killed.

The things I remember about another Uncle, Uncle P, include beach parties, farming and his way of carrying his son (my cousin) over his shoulders. Like Mr. M, he's also part of the Army. We're aware that his last assignment was in Basilan. Yes, he got killed there while participating in a very dangerous operation. How we heard the news? Of course, we're always using our portable radio and sets of Eveready batteries. Before their station commander sent a message to my Grandma, we already knew the bad news. And his last words for me before he went to war? "Study well. Prepare for your future."

See? We had good and bad Eveready Moments. For so many years, I've learned a lot because of our radio. Also, I got hints of how to create literary pieces because of my habit in listening to drama programs. On the day Princess Diana died, I heard the sad news over the radio. Until this day, we still have our radio and sets of Eveready batteries in my huge treasure box in the province. Although it's been so long that I got the chance to have it checked, I still remember those memorable things.

So every time I watch action films, you'll expect me think about my colorful childhood days, our radio plus Eveready batteries, brave Uncles and their Army adventures and opportunity to learn many things.

Finally, we can always prepare during typhoons and earthquakes because of timely news given by radio announcers. It's easy for us to get news about loved ones, good or bad too. I've got to prepare school examinations during brownouts because of our radio and its dependable batteries. Preparing for my future isn't easy but the task became lighter because of using a family companion (radio) and dependable batteries called Eveready.

Gifts and Talents

I would like to share to you the spiritual thought I shared during the Art Festival in our ward. I was given the topic about gifts and talents. Upon knowing the topic, I prayed and asked guidance for my assignment. My only concern is to deliver the message well.

There are many things that I learned in this topic. The word gifts and talents has been considered as part of cultural, visual and performing arts. However, this has been considered as a very limiting definition. There are myriad ways to express gifts and talents given by God.

The examples of gifts and talents include cooking, dancing, singing, writing, sports abilities, painting and others. These are given by God for mankind to explore and develop. In that sense, we're approved of by Him to develop the gifts and talents we received. Yes, each one of us receive different kinds of talents. It's up to us to use it for our own advantage in a righteous manner.

Simply put, when we received gifts and talents from God we have the obligation to use it. However, we should develop it on righteous purposes. It shouldn't be used to damage or defraud another person.

According to Elder Henry D. Taylor, "You probably have gifts and talents that you have not yet discovered or that are dormant. These must be awakened."

The counsel is very clear. I'll pray that I'll be able to follow this counsel. Have a nice day, everyone!

How To Create A Unique Home Decor

I'm so happy with the increasing traffic here in My Regency. When I started this blog two years ago, it was just a play. My husband wanted me to start a blog, but I'm not really serious about it. The love of blogging really started when I met some friends online and when I discovered a lot of tricks in making a blog grow. For today, my post is about how to create a unique home decor. I'm not a professional interior designer, yet I'm really fascinated with unique home designs. My primary consideration is creating a unique home design using affordable materials.

Our home isn't complete, I know. There are many things to accomplish like painting, flooring, finalizing the kitchen, putting up a fence so that dogs won't run away just to play and finalizing the bedroom upstairs. While we're preparing all these, I want to know how to create a unique home decor.

I finally made a unique home decor when I was invited to a church activity which is an art festival. I thought it was unique since the materials I used are all recycled. On my way to the wet market, I searched for tree wigs. I decided to make a Tree of Fashion. I found tree wigs and I brought it with me while looking for fresh pork and fish in the market.:)

Upon reaching home, I took my used nail cream and used it to paint the branches of the tree wigs. I used color pink, lavender, green, red and yellow alternately. After that, I took my handmade fashion accessories and tried it on the tree of fashion. The dogs stood beside me while doing this project. I finished the project two hours before the event. Love it!

We had a tag in this blog about supermodels, right? This is noticeable when you're a regular reader. Why am I so excited? Because I'm so impressed with Ann Ward. I'm so inspired to throw a post about this topic Ann Ward Is America's Next Top Model 2010.

There's a controversy surrounding such a stunning supermodel. On her her first appearance of the America's Next Top Model 2010 contest, a judge revealed he could fit both hands round her tiny waist. She said she was often bullied while in school because she's so different. Isn't it interesting? She's so tall, 6'2" in very pretty. Her hair fits the runway and being that photogenic, she won the contest. Hence, Ann Ward Is America's Next Top Model 2010.

Why the title? :) "Blogging is not only for SEO" has been chosen term to introduce the term to my classmates. I've been busy lately because of work and other activities. But since today is my birthday, I'd like to write something on my blog, for the benefit of my high school batch.

To make it clear, this blog is for SEO or search engine optimization. Not only that, it's also my way of sharing my views, comment and perspective of a thing or issue.

I'm not here to brag about my career or anything. I'm always inviting friends and strangers to visit my blog because I feel happy that few people were there to visit and comment on my blog.

Here in My Regency, I'd like to prepare and share my own wishlist for Christmas 2010. Prior to that, I'm so lucky to receive several gifts from loved ones last Christmas. Since my birthday falls in the month of December, birthday gifts added my collection of favorite things.

The best thing that I received last Christmas is good health. I can't imagine myself being sick and stay in the hospital. With God's help, I felt I'm healthy and able to perform my daily tasks.

Thirty Years of My Past

I'm so early in coming here in the office, so I think this is a perfect time to post about thirty years of my past. This is a recollection of the things I've done after graduating high school because I choose to keep the rest for myself. I'm really happy because things are still getting better despite the challenges that I encountered for the past decades.

The things I've planned and done with my comments.

First, there's a need to take up a college course. I chose Bachelor of Arts Major in Political Science for one reason that I want to be lawyer. I enjoyed my Pol Sci days and started being a member of a debating club. Of course, I earned the degree by hard work and diligence.

Take up law. Being in law school is tough. Imagine reading a lot of law school books for daily oral recitations in class. Honestly, I was a very lousy law student. I didn't study hard and I only passed because of my quick reviews before exams. This thing happened in my second year until I graduated with "falling colors". How sad when I was successful in my elementary and high school days, referring to academic and extra-curricular matters. Did you know that I was an athlete even up to law school? Yeah, that was track and field. My last run was in a law school activity.

Attend a practice court hearing. I'm not really an outstanding student in law school but I've tried a lot of fun things to do. I was able to participate in a real court hearing under the supervision of a law school professor. It was nice and fun. Honestly, I was really nervous at that time. We need to help a person recover damages from the defendant. As a side note, I won as speaker in debating contests and made known for a while because of my "impressive they say" performance in a moot court hearing. I can't forget being a popular "witness" at that time. Because of that, I gained friends and enemies, too.

Take the BAR exam and pass. Some stroke of luck, but I failed. I can attribute this failure to my lousy performance in school, too much time and attention given to extra-curricular activities like debating, mooting, sports, fraternity and others. By the way, I'm a member of an exclusive national law fraternity and sorority. I've regretted not being a lawyer after my graduation but I never regretted enjoying life that time. I've learned a lot of things because of the bittersweet detour.

To really fall in love. I have a tale to tell because of this. But really, I did this for literature and fun. It's true that I've been in love but when it's over, I realized I should go back to reality. I've known a lot of people because of this and visited a very beautiful and calm place in it's finale.

Visit places. I've been to different places within the Philippine island. The cities include General Santos, Davao, Dipolog, Cagayan de Oro City, Iligan, Marawi, Guimaras, Aklan (Boracay), Iloilo, Manila, Bulacan, Dapitan, Ozamis, and others.

To marry when twenty-eight years old. My plan of marrying at the age of twenty-eight years old happened. I was married in the Philippines Temple (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), not other temple that you know, by the way, to a man three years older than me. I hope to have twin (little ones) with my husband.

Rent-to-own. I started paying when I was twenty-eight years old. I'll share some pics by the time we we're able to remodel the house.

Insurance. Yes, I'm insured. That's for my future and in case I'll die first.
